It almost makes me believe in Karma.
Here’s the scoop:
Steve Gaines presented a resolution to the 2017 Southern Baptist Convention. After a series of whereases followed by assorted Bible verses, the resolution condemned every form of racism, specifically “including alt-right white supremacy, as antithetical to the Gospel of Jesus Christ”.
Who can argue with that?
Disliking others due to immutable characteristics — including race — is not only immoral, it’s illogical.
Gaines, by the way, is president of the organization and pastors the massive Bellevue Baptist mega- church in Memphis, Tennessee.
My beef with the resolution is that it unnecessarily singled out white racism for special mention. That, in my humble opinion, is anti-white racism. That is, Gaines’ anti-racist resolution was, itself, racist.
Now comes the Karma.
Gaines’ church hosted a fireworks display Sunday evening. It was a citywide event. Thousands of Memphians showed up.
Not long after the first rocket’s red glare bursted in air, the crowd was visited by hordes of unruly black teens, reports say. Fights ensued. Police were called. Karma was served.
Again, Gaines should be lauded for condemning racism, but condemned for ignoring the epidemic of black racism that has permeated our culture for generations.
• Case in point…
Thestate.com reports that three black males had a hankering to “smash an Indian.”
On March 2, the trio entered a convenience store in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. There they found Indian immigrant and store owner Harnish Patel. They allegedly literally smashed him to death.
Patel, 43, was found dead outside his Lancaster home about three miles from his store, officials said. Arrest warrants are the first indication that the crime is believed to have been a hate crime against an Indian immigrant.
Gaines should have included black supremacy and the ult-left while he was condemning racism.
• Then there was the “crime” committed in North Carolina.
Reports say a black middle school teacher forced white students to stand before her English class and confess their white privilege.

American Lens was also told by one parent that the incident was more specific than Wilkinson stated. According to that parent, Clarke forced her white students to stand in front of the class and apologize to the minority students for their “white privilege.”
• Another incident occurred in North Hutchinson Island, Florida.
A white man returned home to find his house burglarized. Taken were his Porsche and an estimated $200,000 cash.
The suspects were described as six baby-faced teens. All are black.
Six baby-faced Florida teens, aged 14 to 16, … “stole a Porsche and $200,000 in burglary and blew the cash on gold teeth, bling jewelry, and sports cars for their moms”
The teens, aged 14 to 16, were charged after allegedly burgling a home.
They reportedly stole $200,000 cash, a Porsche and two handguns.
One teen allegedly bought himself gold teeth and a bracelet with the money.
They told police they used the stolen cash to buy cars for their relatives.
One teen said he bought his mom an $80,000 Dodge Challenger Hellcat and his brother a $25,000 2009 Mercedes C300.
Now, imagine the surprise when a 16-year-old strolled into a car dealership and ordered a new Dodge Challenger and paid with $80,000 cash. One would think that to be a red flag that something is amiss.
The point is this: Racism, in spite of the insistence of the ult-left, is not an exclusive franchise of white folks.
Anti-white racism is also systemic.
• An estimated one-million American college grads were displaced in the job market by foreigners. The displacement is compliments of a government program that rewards corporations with tax breaks in exchange for hiring non-American college graduates.
Granted, not all the displaced Americans were white, but it’s reasonable to assume that most were white and that most of the foreign students were “people of color”.
The little-known “Optional Practical Training” program has grown from 91,140 new foreign job-seekers in 2009 to 329,158 new job-seekers in 2016, according to data provided by the Department of Homeland Security. That is almost a four-fold increase in seven years — and the program is growing even larger in 2017.
Over a period of three years, the number of displaced American graduates will be 987,474.
We wonder if the 2018 Southern Baptist Convention will be presented with a resolution condemning black supremacists bashing Indian immigrants, forcing white children to confess their white privilege, stealing from white people, and foreigners displacing American graduates.
Perhaps the resolution could begin with, “Whereas the Bible warns against being influenced by popular opinion, ‘And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.’ ”
Oh. The resolution should also condemn hordes of black thugs that disrupt church activities.
