“What’s going on?” This has to be the question that a lot of US Army soldiers have to be asking themselves now that the U.S. Army is training officers to accept new transgender bathroom guidelines, which includes females accepting someone with male genitalia into the female shower area, according to The Blaze.
If you are wondering how this change in military policy even came to life, all one has to do is point to the previous Obama administration for its determination to upend the nation’s military readiness and resolve. Last June, President Barack Obama directed then Defense Secretary Ash Carter to repeal the long-term ban on transgenders serving openly in the military.
Of course, this decision by Obama, was viewed by many in and outside the military as one more action by the lead-from-behind commander-in-hiding leader to weaken the nation. There was no upside for the current military and in effect the only excuse or rationale that the weak-kneed liberals could offer for this policy was that it was the “politically correct” option needed.
Political correctness is not a defense strategy for the military and political correctness is certainly not an option that should ever be entertained on the battlefield. Yet, what would that weed-smoking past president even know or understand about battlefield readiness, the only battlefield that he ever encountered was making certain that his marijuana supplier in college got his order correct.
What’s going on is simple. According to the Federalist the military has prepared a new policy which mandates that all females in the service must accept someone with male genitalia into the female shower area. Does that policy make any kind of common sense? Do the rights of female soldiers drop abruptly at the bathroom or shower door with this new “Tier Three Transgender Training” module?
Take a step back for a moment and think how this policy would play out for the average parent who sent their daughter to school and suddenly the school sprung this new policy on female students. Oh, wait…Obama did try that sort of ridiculous policy in 2016. Do you see where this is going? The decision by the U.S. Supreme Court to sanction gay marriage has opened up the floodgates to attack the very moral and principled foundations of Christianity and common-sense decency in America.
The nation is being held hostage by the gay and transgender-empowered activists and Americans are supposed to stand by and allow students in public schools, or military soldiers, to simply suck it up and take the lunacy.
At least that is what the military document suggests for military female officers. It states that if female officers are feeling uncomfortable about a transgender soldier openly displaying their genitals in the barracks, bathrooms or shower area, they must simply adjust and get used to it, reported the Federalist.
There is also a little even more ridiculous twist to this new military political correctness policy. If a female soldier is upset by the implementation policy, there is the option to create separate facilities for those soldiers. For all practical purposes, this means that the norm will be the transgender soldier and the rest of the unit must adjust, not the individual transgender soldier.
