A Time to Kneel and a Time to Stand … Guess Which One, NFL?

Attention all “Anthem Kneelers and Kneeler supporters.” Please answer these questions. Back up all your answers and explain your reasoning. No cheating or asking anyone else to answer for you. Let’s see how many of you kneelers understand why you protest and can state it and explain it clearly without any prior research. Just let your reasons flow. Let’s hear it. Are you playing “monkey see, monkey do or do you really have a “problem” with the National Anthem and everything it stands for? Which one of you “kneelers” are oppressed in any way in the country you are protesting? How much money do you make?

Once you state your reasons, please enlighten us about how kneeling and disrespecting our National Anthem really helps your cause. When the reasons for your “awareness campaign” are accomplished (I think most of us would say they already are…we are all aware!) let’s hear your solutions! What will YOU do INDIVIDUALY besides just whine and kneel to implement this change while off the field? We all know you all have plenty of money and influence to make a difference. Please state how you are using your influence and bountiful earnings to better America and the cause you protest on a regular basis off the field.

I’d like to know what is so horrible about a country that allows you to obtain millions of dollars while playing the game you love? Protesting this country in the position you are in, in the setting you are choosing seems to be idiotic and immature. You should be embarrassed to participate in these foolish protesting “games.”

How exactly does “kneeling” for the National Anthem help encourage a United America? Football was fun to watch when it wasn’t used as a “political platform”. These are the things I’d like the kneelers to “defend”. I’d love to see you “big football boys” individually defend yourselves with no coaching or talking to other teammates. Where did all this hatred of America stem from? Do you hate your paycheck? Doesn’t America treat you extremely well? Why not help us all out and explain, and by all means, use your earnings and influence for the greater good.

I suspect only a handful of “kneelers” really even know why they are playing “follow the foolish leader” by insulting the majority of Americans with their juvenile antics. I suspect all this “kneeling nonsense” is nothing but a trend. A really dumb, disrespectful one at that. Remember not too long ago when politics was a “forbidden topic”? Now it seems like everyone is an expert. It’s become very trendy to link “political issues” with sports celebrities and just celebrities in general. Since when are these folks political experts and analysts? Why is the entertainment industry needing to be contaminated with “politics”? What happened to folks getting together to watch a game and not have to worry about what side of the “kneel or not to kneel controversy” they are on?

Anyone kneeling on a football field should be thanking God for living in America. Everyone should rise for the National Anthem out of RESPECT! I think the football boys that want to disrespect America like this should turn in their football helmets and shoulder pads and be required to serve in the military for at least a few years overseas as they exit the field. They live in the greatest country in the world and they clearly don’t appreciate it. Is anyone else tired of juvenile protest antics? If all these protestors really cared, they’d stop wasting time with their juvenile antics and actually do something to help the situations they are complaining about.

Share if you agree there are times to stand and times to kneel — and during the national anthem, it’s time to stand.
