WTMcF? McCain Offends HALF Of America In Latest Screed – Yes, It’s BAD

Senator John McCain goes FULL John McCain.  We respond by going FULL ClashDaily.

To say it kindly, the former Republican Presidential candidate has always been on the fringes of the GOP ideology.  He’s been more concerned with ‘bipartisanship’ than with standing up for conservative ideals.

Some conservatives don’t even understand how he became the GOP Presidential candidate in 2008.  Many of his political views run contrary to most Republicans, as evidenced by his recent and continued scuttling of repealing and replacing ObamaCare.  Nevermind the fact that it was one of his campaign promises.

Maybe it’s the Soros Bucks?

Senator McCain was awarded the 2017 Liberty Medal for service and sacrifice.  He was introduced by his longtime friend, former Vice President Joe Biden.

During his acceptance speech, Sen. McCain took a swipe at President Trump and all those who supported him and his agenda by fanning the flames of bigotry that is being pushed by the Media (D).

Sen. John McCain warned against the US turning toward ‘half-baked, spurious nationalism’ and jabbed at unnamed pushers of isolationist politics while at an event honoring the war hero’s contributions.

Source: Daily Mail

By ‘half-baked spurious nationalism’ does he mean President Trump’s ‘America First’ agenda? If the United States doesn’t think of America First, who will? Other countries think of themselves first, why is it such a problem for America to do it?

Look at some of these international treaties and trade agreements — many of them are, as a wise man who is currently residing at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue would say, ‘bad deals’ for America. They are intentionally biased against the United States.

McCain just took a swipe not just at President Trump, but also at you, Dear Trump Supporter.

Watch:

But hey, Johnny, of course, has some solutions:

To abandon the ideals we have advanced around the globe, to refuse the obligations of international leadership for the sake of some half-baked, spurious nationalism cooked up by people who would rather find scapegoats than solve problems, is as unpatriotic as an attachment to any other tired dogma of the past that Americans consigned to the ash heap of history.

We live in a land made of ideals, not blood and soil.

Funny to hear Sen. McCain talk about ‘ideals’ when he so quickly dismisses GOP ideals when it is politically expedient for him to do so.

Obama’s idea of ‘the obligations of international leadership’ was a freaking ‘apology tour’.

Remember? ‘We lead from behind.’

Some ‘international leadership’.

I’m old enough to remember when Sen. McCain said that Obama’s ‘Red Lines’ were Assad’s ‘Green Lights’.

What does he even mean by ‘obligations of international leadership’? Isn’t the United States the freest, most successful nation on the planet? Do we not send more in aid around the world to assist those in need than any other country in the world? Do we not promote freedom and democracy everywhere on the globe? Do we not denounce bigotry and violence against minorities everywhere? What more leadership do you need?

Is he implying that we should give a damn what the United Nations thinks of us? Should we be kissing the @$$ of the U.N.? How can you take that anti-Semitic organization seriously? The organization that elected Saudi Arabia onto their Women’s Rights Commission?

Or are we to be concerned about how we’re viewed in the ‘international community’?

Speaking of Saudi Arabia, do we really need to be concerned what the misogynist d-bags think of us? They arrested a woman for wearing a short skirt. It’s 2017 and they’re just allowing women to get a driver’s license. Maybe next year women won’t have separate lines at restaurants, and in 10 years they can make choices relating to their own medical health. And, hey, let’s dream really big and hope that someday they might be able to open a bank account without the permission of a male relative.

Ridiculous.

So then, McCain goes into that ‘white nationalist’ B.S.

Obviously. you can’t support President Trump and not be a mouth-breathing racist bigot.

Blood and soil, really?

There are a handful of white nationalists in the United States, but the Media (D) and the Leftists (but I repeat myself) continue to fan the flames of racism by claiming that there is systemic racism in various institutions.

How can white nationalism be a problem when it’s being constantly denounced by President Trump.

Here is a supercut of all the times President Trump has renounced white nationalism, neo-Nazis, Nazis, and the KKK:

Sen. McCain also said:

We are the custodians of those ideals at home, and their champion abroad. We have done great good in the world.

‘That leadership has had its costs, but we have become incomparably powerful and wealthy as we did. We have a moral obligation to continue in our just cause, and we would bring more than shame on ourselves if we don’t.

We will not thrive in a world where our leadership and ideals are absent. We wouldn’t deserve to.

You know, I agree with Sen. McCain that we do have a moral obligation to continue in our just cause.

We just disagree with what that ‘just cause’ is.

Sen. McCain thinks it’s to put the needs and desires of other countries ahead of our own and call that ‘leadership’.

I believe it’s to Make America Great Again by putting America First.

Share if you think that Senator McCain, as usual, isn’t helping Republican ideals
