A few basic questions before we all break out the tar and feathers, if you don’t mind…
Among the various ‘bombshell’ reports of sexual impropriety (including the 9th Circuit judge who’s now among the accused) was a years-old claim against President Trump.
With sexual accusations in Washington and elsewhere flying so ‘Fast and Furious’ (did the DOJ ever investigate that, by the way?) what should we make of this one?
Let’s look at the claim, and then look under the hood.
First the claim:
‘He took me for lunch at Trump Tower, just us two,’ Huddy told Shulz.
‘He said goodbye to me in an elevator while his security guy was there, rather than kiss me on the cheek he leaned in to kiss me on the lips.’
‘I was surprised that he went for the lips. But I didn’t feel threatened… he took me out to lunch to talk about maybe me doing something with ‘The Apprentice.’
‘I wasn’t offended, I was kind of like, ‘Oh my god.”
Years later, Trump appeared on Huddy’s early morning talk show on Fox affiliate WNYW, where she said he admitted, off camera, to the incident.
‘Trump was a guest and he came on stage, He said, to the audience and producers, not on camera, ‘I tried hitting on her but she blew me off.’ He was laughing.’
‘At the time I was not offended by it, I thought he was a single man and leaned in for a kiss… maybe he thought, ‘She’s been out to lunch with me and maybe she is interested’

So, do we need to run him out on a rail?
First, let’s see what the Huddy herself has to say about it:
Re: @PageSix story: Yes, it's true. And though I'm offended by his comments on 'other matters' – as I said on @77WABCradio & @BillSchulz's show yesterday – I was neither threatened nor offended in elevator. End of story. Now, plz let me get back to @TheCrownNetflix.

So, if she can say that she was neither offended nor threatened she obviously thought it was ‘no big deal’. It does not rise to the level of ‘assault’.
Second, she isn’t calling him out as a bad guy.
She’s not afraid to speak out if she has a problem with an unwanted advance. How do we know? She’s reported to have received a settlement from Bill O’Reilly.
So, if she had something to say about Trump, you’d think she would have no problem saying it.
Third — depending on the timing, Trump likely wasn’t even married yet.
Let’s take her word at face value — that’s what we’re supposed to do when a woman speaks out, right?
If it was a ‘Big Deal’ she would have said so.
But on the record, she’s said exactly the opposite.
What Jim Acosta, Rachel Maddow and the Rest of The Media (D) STILL haven’t figured out
yet is why we call them ‘Fake News’.
Let’s spell it out for them. In a shirt.
Because you know they won’t be able to figure it out on their own.
There’s a ladies’ version…
And a men’s version…
And the best part? This shirt is made in the USA, printed in the USA, on an American-Made
