Will The Unborn Receive Justice As DOJ Investigates Planned Parenthood?

For eight years the Obama administration joined with Planned Parenthood in a campaign to destroy the unborn child. At its absolute worst, Obama looked the other way while Planned Parenthood and its affiliates sold fetal parts and tissue. Now, according to Fox News, the Department of Justice (DOJ) is investigating Planned Parenthood’s connection to the sale of fetal tissue. Will the unborn now receive justice?

Countless Americans were horrified to learn that Planned Parenthood was linked to the scandalous and contemptable practice of selling fetal tissue and parts for profit. This practice was brought to light when David Daleiden, leader of the pro-life Center for Medical Progress, and Sandra Merritt, an employee of the group, both posed as fetal researchers. The two made undercover videos of themselves trying to buy fetal tissue from Planned Parenthood officials.

The backlash from Americans in all political sectors was nearly unanimous in their revulsion to this loathsome endeavor. What shocked the nation’s sense of right and wrong was how the Planned Parenthood officials bragged about how they would indulge themselves in the purchase of luxurious items with the profits off of the dead unborn child parts.

The unborn children had a legal and moral right to be treated, even in death with decency and respect which Planned parenthood did not do.

Judi Lake, Executive Director of the American Christian Civil Rights Movement (ACCRM) explained, “The unborn child is a human being. The Bible is very clear about this. In Psalm 139:13-15, the Bible points out “For you [God] created my inmost being, You knit me together in my mother’s womb…My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place.”

Lake went on to add, “That is why [ACCRM] launched its Annual ‘Unborn Person of the Year’ national and international campaign.” In our video The Blood of the Innocents we share the reasons why the unborn child created in God’s image must be respected and protected.”

Now, the Justice Department is evidently seriously investigating the abhorrent assault resulting in the dissection and sale of the unborn children’s body parts. Fox News reported that Justice Department Assistant Attorney General for Legislative Affairs Stephen Boyd sent a formal request to the formally requested, unredacted documents from the Senate Judiciary Committee.

The newly launched investigation is important. In the 2016 report entitled “Human Fetal Tissue Research: Context and Controversy” published in December 2016, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa Grassley referred Planned Parenthood and other providers to the FBI for investigation.

Sen. Grassley explained in the report that the committee’s investigation had revealed sufficient evidence that shows the methods used by abortion providers to transfer fetal tissue and body parts from aborted fetuses for research while charging amounts higher than they actually cost. The senator points out, “It also documents substantial evidence suggesting that the specific entities involved in the recent controversy, and/or individuals employed by those entities, may have violated that law,” according to Fox News.
