President Trump mocks Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) by calling her ‘Pocahontas’. Sen. Warren cites ‘family stories’ by her ‘Mammaw and Pappaw’ and the genetic trait of ‘high cheekbones’ as proof of her Native American heritage.
Fun fact: Sen. Warren notably submitted recipes to a Native American cookbook titled ‘Pow Wow Chow’ — but three of the five ‘Cherokee’ recipes that she submitted, ‘Crab with Tomato Mayonnaise Dressing’ and ‘Cold Omelets with Crab Meat’ were word-for-word copies of those written by a famous French chef.
Of course, we know that crabmeat was oft consumed by the Cherokees of Warren’s native landlocked state of Oklahoma…
If she lied about that, what else is she lying about?

Sen. Elizabeth Warren batted down calls for her to take a DNA test to prove her Native American heritage in an interview that aired Sunday.
“I know who I am. And never used it for anything. Never got any benefit from it anywhere,” Warren said of her ancestry on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”
The Massachusetts Democrat has been under increased pressure to provide evidence of her Native American roots, with President Trump repeatedly mocking her as “Pocahontas” as recently as Saturday.

Warren’s statement that she has never used her identity to benefit her is about as true as her ‘authentic’ Cherokee recipes.
When she joined the faculty at Harvard in the 90s, the university touted her Native American status.
…Warren said she had no idea that Harvard was touting her as a minority in the 1990s. But two days later, she acknowledged that for years before she joined the faculty at Harvard, she had been classifying herself as a minority professor in a directory of the Association of American Law Schools.
That directory included Warren on a list of minority professors from 1986 through 1995.
On Wednesday, she told reporters that she listed herself as such to connect with others like her, “people for whom native American is part of their heritage and part of their hearts. There aren’t a lot of people like me in law teaching. And so I just thought I might find some others. That’s evidently not a particularly good use for the directory because it never happened.”

She knew exactly what she was doing. Listing herself as a Native American law professor would make her more likely to get a job at a prestigious university.
The Left is constantly on about ‘cultural appropriation’ and they consistently get the issue wrong.
Here is a woman that has seemingly ‘appropriated’ Native American culture and used it to set herself apart in an era of ‘diversity’ hiring in order to advance her career.
You’d think that the ‘diversity’ crowd would be upset that Warren has taken a seat from one of the actual minority groups that are — in their view — under-represented in academia.
Warren’s claims are scrupulous at best.
And now she’s refusing to prove her claims?
I guess it’s all about ‘her truth’ vs. ‘THE truth’.
