‘Crazyfornia’: Where Citizenship Doesn’t Matter for State Office

I read a piece about an illegal alien, residing in California, who was just appointed to a state job. The woman, Lizbeth Mateo, an attorney, was born in Mexico and came to the U.S. illegally at the age of 14 with her parents, who are also illegal aliens, according to the Sacramento Bee.

Now, right there is where I have a problem with this particular case. She was not a child with no choice in the matter, she was a young woman who SHOULD have known right from wrong at that point. Coming into another country illegally (and keep that word in mind) and remaining here, taking full advantage of everything that the United States has to offer, tells me that our immigration policies are lacking a LOT of backbone.

In an interview, she complained that illegal aliens are not adequately represented in state government, and described her appointment as a step towards correcting that alleged injustice. She said, “While undocumented students have become more visible in our state, they remain underrepresented in places where decisions that affect them are being made,” So, here again,

I have a problem with that. They are ILLEGALLY in this country, and they know it, and they want to have a say in government! Imagine if you will, a sizable portion of the voting populace of that state, or any state, being illegal aliens…what sort of changes do you think they will try to implement? Right…you guessed it. They will want all the freebies they can get, and then some, with the taxpayers bearing the burden.

Senate President pro Tem Kevin de León (D-Los Angeles) who is running for U.S. Senate against incumbent Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), described Mateo as: “a courageous, determined and intelligent young woman who at great personal risk has dedicated herself to fight for those seeking their rightful place in this country,” according to Fox News.

Mateo, however, seems somewhat confused about which country she prefers. In a Facebook post in 2016, apparently celebrating her graduation from Santa Clara University School of Law, Mateo declared, in Spanish: “Everything is dedicated to Oaxaca, Mexico!! To that land that I miss so much.” Hell’s bells…if she loves Mexico that much why is she still here? Go back to your homeland and take your parents (remember, they are ILLEGALS also) with you!

While she is the first illegal alien to hold a state office, she is not the first elevated to public office in California. In 2015, the city council of Huntington Park, California, appointed two illegal aliens to city commissions, sparking a public backlash. De León and other state officials are stoking an ongoing confrontation with the federal government over federal immigration laws. At some point, there’s going to be a standoff between the state government and the federal government, regarding immigration. I can tell you, without any fear of contradiction, immigration is a federal affair and it will beat state law every time. I have friends and relatives in Crazyfornia and some of them would like to leave but they can’t for various reasons and they get more upset whenever they hear about something like this from me, because it’s almost never reported IN the state!

Remember Bernie Sanders? Yeah, the guy that’s anti-gun and just about everything else that a working person might profit, or get enjoyment, from. His philosophy is truly fabulous and one of the definitions of that word is: having no basis in reality; mythical. So when he says just about everything is going to be “free” you should take that with a grain of salt because there’s no basis in reality. Try going to the supermarket, filling your cart with groceries and walking out without paying. What’s that you say…you were stopped by a security guard? Did you tell them that Senator Sanders said it’s free, but they still detained you?

If you haven’t grown up KNOWING that there’s very few things that are free in this world, then you’re probably not grown up yet. Air…that’s free…but that’s all that I can think of because everything else involves some sort of interaction between you and another person. You cannot take from someone else without some sort of reimbursement. If you do take and don’t pay, that’s called robbery and you go to jail for that.

Oh, incidentally, Bernie showed up for an anti-gun rally in Washington DC, surrounded by Capitol Police, with guns. Several times during the live stream, the guards blocked students from getting too close to Sanders. Sanders likely felt well-protected by his Glock-carrying guards as he told marchers to have “courage to take out the NRA.” It seems that Sanders wants gun control for everyone – except for his own security detail, a luxury a majority of Americans cannot afford. There’s a word for that sort of behavior…can you say HYPOCRITE?

Like so many of the anti-gunners, the celebrities surround themselves with armed security, their homes are well-guarded and many have fences or walls surrounding them. Now, don’t forget, these are some of the same people that want open borders or no immigration laws…just not in their neighborhoods or homes.
