After the Valentines’ Day shooting, the Media (D) is pointing fingers every direction but the one that really matters.
Did any of those pearl-clutching fear-mongering gun-grabbing reporters happen to mention the fact that 20 of the 21 mass murderers did NOT have a father at home?
Instead of rushing to set fire to our Constitution, or blaming ‘toxic masculinity’ (whatever that’s supposed to mean) can we at least have an adult conversation about what can REALLY help?
Positive Male role models.
Dads who step up and actually be dads. Who jerk back on the leash when little Junior starts walking down stupid and self-destructive paths.
Dads who give kids the confidence and security to know their needs are looked after so they can focus on their education and creativity.
Dads who help kids navigate the crazy waters of adolescence and come out on the other side as a solid, productive citizen.
This episode will be a welcome antidote to the regular dose of man-hating you’ll see in the regular news cycle, complete with some stats about how important dads are that you’ll NEVER see on TV.
