Oprah’s ‘A Wrinkle in Time’ Does a Whole Lot More Than Twist the Original Story …

If you were worried that Oprah would somehow twist A Wrinkle in Time to fit her own narrative, I want to cast aside any and all doubts and assure you that you would be mistaken.

She did not twist Madeleine L’Engle’s classic work, she defiled it. She sucked the life out of it and deformed it.

She recast it into a god of her own making.

Any allusion to the Christian tone of the work was removed and stamped with The Secret mumbo jumbo pantheism that we’ve all come to know and loathe. Your worst suspicions are confirmed.

Now before you point out that she didn’t direct it, it had Oprah stamped all over it.

And for Catherine Hand to have signed off on this bunkum is a complete betrayal of her friendship and alleged devotion to L’Engle and her work.
