If You’re Drawing Fire It’s Because You’re Over The Target

Written by Doug Giles on April 13, 2018

Why should we be glad we have enemies and pity those who think they’ve got none?

We live in a woe-is-me generation, where getting unfriended on social media is a travesty. Where having someone tell you you’re ugly and your mother dresses you funny rates as a hate crime and is probably racist.

What would these dandies do in the face of a real enemy?

They’d probably freeze like a deer in headlights.

It’s too bad, too. Because a good fight with an enemy is what their baby-soft hands need most.

No, not ‘Fight Club’ fighting — although the exercise might do them some good — a struggle, a challege, a test.

Something that forces them beyond their tepid mediocrity and into the realms of excellence.

Doug breaks down why we ABSOLUTELY CANNOT DO WITHOUT a decent enemy in this bite-sized podcast here.

David needed a Goliath.

Sherlock Holmes needed a Moriarty.

And you will need an opponent if you’re going to really step up into your true potential.

You DO want to step up, don’t you?

Remember, those Social Media gurus are filtering what you see and hear. You need to take control of your Newsfeed and support the content that you like. Here’s how to do that.

Like the podcast? You’ll love this book:

Does your grandpa go off on paltry politicians, whether they be Democrats or Republicans? Does he get misty eyed when he talks about God and Country and America’s future? And have you ever heard him scream, ‘Awww … Hell no!’ when Rosie O’Donnell starts yapping on television? If you answered yes to one, or all of the above, then your gramps will love Doug Giles’ latest book, My Grandpa Is A Patriotic Badass.

Don’t be fooled by the title — this ain’t just for Grandpa.
The Snowflake Generation — and the rest of America — needs a good ol’ dose of ‘Grandpa wisdom’.
Especially if that Grandpa is Doug Giles.
You’ll love My Grandpa Is A Patriotic Badass just as much as Grandpa will.

What makes America so different from other nations? Other nations are built around regimes or systems. But America was built from on ideas. From a blank slate.

Built on ideas that are DANGEROUS to tyrants.

That we have God-Given Rights, like Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Dangerous ideas. Like this one: the people, when threatened, have a God-Given right to stand up in defiance of any government that dares threaten any of those rights.

There’s a men’s version

And a women’s version, too

Because in America, the bros AND the ladies BOTH have a rich history of badass rowdiness.
