This hero’s actions were pretty badass.
This unassuming man wearing a cowboy hat took down a ‘bad hombre’ that was trying to rob a convenience store in Monterrey, Mexico.
The would-be robber pointed a gun threateningly at the clerk as well as a patron at the counter. Little did he know that the Wilfrid Brimley look-a-like would be his downfall.
Captured on CCTV from inside a convenience store in Mexico, footage shows the young, armed robbed burst into the store waving a revolver pistol at the attendant.
The mugger then points the gun at the hero, who is wearing a beige cowboy hat with denim biker coat, before turning away to threaten the shoppers in the store.
It all went downhill from there.
Cowboy bro was so badass that he took off his sunglasses before leaping into action.
But taking his eyes off the cowboy proves to be a costly mistake as the hero takes his chance, rushing the criminal and smashing the revolver out of his hand.
Panicked and realising he’s bitten off more than he can chew, the robber tries to sprint to escape but the cowboy grabs him in a chokehold while tries to flee.
As the pair move out of view of the camera, two store employees rushed in to help. One picked up the gun that the robber had dropped.
The robber reappears on camera again, minus a shirt which has been ripped from his back by the hulking cowboy.
But desperately trying to flee, the robber then brandishes a long kitchen knife in a bid to escape.
Undeterred, the cowboy manhandles the robber again while the two store workers also step in to disarm the now defeated criminal.
The footage ends with the three men holding the robber down while the store worker is seen on the phone calling for the police.

It’s being reported that when he was arrested, the gun-wielding robber complained that the cowboy and the store employees used ‘too much force’ in subduing him.
He was upset about too much force?
Perhaps he should have thought of that before threatening people with a gun… and a knife. Folks get touchy about that kind of thing.
That. Was. Awesome.
Someone on Reddit summed it up perfectly, ‘He didn’t even lose his hat – not his first rodeo.’

Why be average? It’s so overrated.
Everyone does that.
