A New Study Says, Most Journalists Are Drunks, Emotional Wrecks and Dullards – This Explains CNN

That explains why a CNN ‘personality’ is never the smartest person in the room, even when they’re alone.

We’ve already seen the slow descent into madness coming from their Trump Derangement Syndrome. That began in November 2016. In the time since then, they have gone more and more off the rails.

Some of us thought they were just loopy to begin with. And that may well be true. But, according to this study, the story goes further than that.

And as you read this, keep in mind that more than 90% of all journalists are solidly Democrats, if they acknowledge any affiliation at all.

Business Insider has reported on a new study that reveals a lot about journalists.

Journalists’ brains show a lower-than-average level of executive functioning, according to a new study, which means they have a below-average ability to regulate their emotions, suppress biases, solve complex problems, switch between tasks, and show creative and flexible thinking.

Well, we’re not surprised about the inability to suppress biases. Look at how they have handled the Trump administration! It’s pretty much all negative all the time — 91 % negative coverage by the Media (D) — there’s no hiding that.

And yet, President Trump has been so consistent in delivering his agenda in his first year and a bit, that he’s now fulfilling promises made by other administrations like moving the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem and denuclearizing the Korean peninsula.

But the Media (D) is fixated on imaginary Russian ‘collusion’ and an alleged affair with a porn star.

The study, led by Tara Swart, a neuroscientist and leadership coach, analyzed 40 journalists from newspapers, magazines, broadcast, and online platforms over seven months. The participants took part in tests related to their lifestyle, health, and behavior.

The tests included both medical monitoring and interviews in conjunction with a ‘brain profile’. In the interviews, many participants felt that their job had meaning and purpose, and they showed high mental resilience.

Each subject completed a blood test, wore a heart-rate monitor for three days, kept a food and drink diary for a week, and completed a brain profile questionnaire.

The results showed that journalists’ brains were operating at a lower level than the average population, particularly because of dehydration and the tendency of journalists to self-medicate with alcohol, caffeine, and high-sugar foods.

Forty-one percent of the subjects said they drank 18 or more units of alcohol a week, which is four units above the recommended weekly allowance. Less than 5% drank the recommended amount of water.

The study was conducted in association with the London Press Club to determine how journalists function under stress.

The article cautions that because the sample size is so small, the results should be reviewed with caution — it may not be representative of journalists as a whole.

Ok, then.

That’s some serious journalism by Don Lemon right there where he’s totally not drunk at all.

Actually, perhaps Don should consider grabbing a couple of shots before going on air. He’s less of an obnoxious jackass when he’s had a few.

“The headline conclusion reached is that journalists are undoubtedly subject to a range of pressures at work and home, but the meaning and purpose they attribute to their work contributes to helping them remain mentally resilient despite this,” the study says. “Nevertheless, there are areas for improvement, including drinking more water and reducing alcohol and caffeine consumption to increase executive functioning and improve recovery during sleep.”

Looks like journalists could also use a really good hangover cure.

What Jim Acosta, Rachel Maddow and the Rest of The Media (D) STILL haven’t figured out yet is why we call them ‘Fake News’.

Let’s spell it out for them. In a shirt.

Because you know they won’t be able to figure it out on their own.

There’s a ladies’ version

And a men’s version

The problem isn’t just the lies they tell…

It’s the truth they DON’T tell…

And the opinions laced right through them.

It’s propaganda:
