Manning’s students are all refugees and immigrants enrolled in the “Newcomer Center” program at Joel E. Ferris High School in Spokane, Washington.“My goal is to share my student’s stories,” Manning said. “But to send a message — to not only my immigrant and refugee students but the LGBT community — that they are wanted, they are loved, they are enough and they matter.”Trump gave Manning the Teacher of the Year award at a ceremony in the East Room of the White House, but the media were not permitted to attend her speech at the event. Trump offered laudatory remarks about Manning but did not mention her students or refugees.The “Teacher of the Year” told CNN that the White House had not asked her what she would say in her remarks. A spokesperson for the Council of Chief State School Officers contacted CNN Thursday and said the White House did receive a copy of Manning’s remarks in advance, which has been done in previous years.Manning told CNN her speech focused on her students and their individual successes and triumphs, and while her talk wasn’t broadcast she thought she had gotten their message out.Source: CNN

Either Liberals just don’t get it, or they are sick in the head. Probably both. Think about it: They want to have all of the blessings that come with living in a capitalist society such as modern medicine and technology. But they believe in socialism, which stifles innovation and progress.
They want to be protected by the police and the military, but they attack and criticize the men and women who protect us. They call conservatives “racists,” but it’s their own identity politics that have created race problems in the first place. After all, Democrats were the party of slavery!
They attack hunters, but have no problem wearing leather shoes or owning cars with leather upholstery! And of course, they believe guns kill people. Not the people that pull the trigger.
