The irony is… if he and his married colleague weren’t using company phones to hide their infidelity to their spouses, the infidelity to their oath of office might never have come to light.
Peter Srzok — whose name nobody could even pronounce just a few short months ago — became a household name when his text exchanges became a smoking gun of evidence pointing to the ‘deep state’ (as it’s become known) political agenda against a sitting President and his election before that.
He was no mere low-level staffer. Within the FBI, he was the Deputy Assistant Director of the Counterintelligence Division. He also served within the Mueller investigation until he was given the hook, and the investigation into Michael Flynn.

Strzok’s name was featured prominently in the Clinton email investigation, the ‘Crossfire Hurricane’ investigation into TrumpWorld and Russian collusion… and he was the agent pulled out of the Mueller probe over those very same emails.
But for all the scandal he’d faced … he had weathered that scandal, and was not fired by FBI. He was merely relocated to HR.
Which led to observations like this:

New texts that had not previously been seen by Congress were unearthed in the recent IG report about the Hillary Email investigation.
Looks like Strzok will NOT be reporting to work tomorrow.

We have no formal guess on what the likelihood of Strzok’s continuing on there, even as a waterboy might be… but with everything that’s come to light… he might want to dust off his resume.
That is… if he can manage to evade criminal charges.
