Video Mocks Starbucks ‘Sensitivity Training’ And It’s Damn Near Perfect

This is indeed parody — but it’s increasingly looking like reality.

At the end of May, Starbucks shut down for an entire day to give ‘sensitivity training’ to all of their employees because two black men who refused to order anything were tossed out of a Starbucks in Philadelphia.

Everyone lost their minds and all Starbucks employees were forced to take part in re-education to make sure that they weren’t all closet racists.

All because two men loitered and refused to leave after the manager approached them several times.

There is no indication that racism played a role in the men being escorted out.

Since the incident and the ensuing backlash, Starbucks has a new policy that says that you can loiter in their cafes and use their bathroom without purchasing anything.

It’s worked out just as you’d expect.

In case you don’t go on Twitter, perhaps you haven’t seen the Broke/Woke/Bespoke jokes that have been popping up. Basically, it shows how things used to be in the past, how they are now, and where they’re headed.  The memes are based on the Wired magazine ‘trend tracker’ that explains the life of a technology trend — Wired/Tired/Expired.

Here are some examples of the Twitter usage:

And here’s how a Starbucks Broke/Woke/Bespoke meme would work:

Broke: Serve customers coffee

Woke: Serve customers coffee and engage in discussions on improving race relations

Bespoke: Sensitivity Training for Starbucks employees as imagined by Comedy troupe, Apologia Studios

Looks about right, if you ask me.

The left and the parody of the left are becoming completely indistinguishable.

Rules For Radical Christians is not a survival devotional designed to help the young Christian adult limp through life. Rather, it is a road-tested, dominion blueprint that will equip the young adult with leadership skills and sufficient motivation to rise to a place of influence in an overtly non-Christian culture. Rules For Radical Christians gives the reader the keys to become strategically equipped to move into an anti-theistic environment and effectively influence it for the glory of God.

What makes America so different from other nations? Other nations are built around regimes or systems. But America was built from on ideas. From a blank slate.

Built on ideas that are DANGEROUS to tyrants.

That we have God-Given Rights, like Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Dangerous ideas. Like this one: the people, when threatened, have a God-Given right to stand up in defiance of any government that dares threaten any of those rights.

There’s a men’s version

And a women’s version, too

Because in America, the bros AND the ladies BOTH have a rich history of badass rowdiness.
