At what point exactly, does this cease being a ‘refugee crisis’ and become an invasion?
El Mundo Spain is reporting that there are 50,000 sub-Saharan migrants waiting at the Moroccan border to enter Spain. They cross over into the two Spanish autonomous cities in North Africa, Ceuta and Melilla. The migrants come prepared with gloves, wire cutters, and quicklime to toss at border agents.
The figures are scary. Experts know that North Africa has become a pressure cooker that accumulates more and more willing immigrants to cross the strait and reach Europe . Thus, as explained to this newspaper by police sources, estimates suggest that there are about 50,000 sub-Saharans who are already crowded in the north of Morocco ready to cross the Strait .
These sources suggest that the current situation is one of the most critical of the decade in that area of passage. They make a comparison with the great crisis of the cayucos , where there were thousands of arrivals to the Canary Islands .
These sources explain that immigrants arrive by all roads to Morocco, cross after paying the mafias throughout the Sahel area and manage to circumvent the border controls that Morocco has on its southern border, controls with minimal effectiveness due to physical reality.
It looks like someone forgot to tell the migrants that the refugee crisis is all about women, children, and families.
The poor, sweet refugees looking for a better life were almost exclusively male, young, and fit.
Where are all the women and children? Probably still in sub-Saharan Africa from whence the able-bodied, military-aged men fled, leaving the women and children to fend for themselves with the elderly.
Sounds like a plan.
According to the Spanish government, it’s estimated that 602 refugees made it across into Cueta recently. Some of them were bloodied after scaling the barbed wire border fence. The Red Cross reports that 132 needed medical assistance.
The assailants not only came prepared with means to get around the concertinas, but also to face the police action. They used quicklime against the agents guarding the border. Twenty-two of them were injured, four with significant burns.

This is outrageous.
They’re using corrosive substances and Molotov cocktails against border agents.
In July, over 700 migrants entered Cuerta with acts of ‘unprecedented violence’ as they threw Molotov cocktails, bags of feces, and directed fire from homemade flamethrowers toward border control agents.
More than 700 sub-Saharan migrants on Thursday stormed the border fence surrounding the Spanish enclave of Ceuta in Morocco, with dozens injured in an incursion of “unprecedented violence”.
Sixteen migrants and ten officers from Spain’s Guardia Civil received hospital treatment following Thursday morning’s incident, during which the group bombarded agents with quicklime, sticks, stones and bags of excrement as well as aerosols used as flame throwers, the force said in a statement.
…the men used angle grinders and shears to cut through the outer and inner layers of the border fence.
The group also bore defensive equipment such as home-made shields and body armour, the Guardia Civil said, and once through the fence continued to attack agents and security vehicles. The force later recovered “Molotov cocktails and bags of hashish”, it added.

Sub-Saharan Africans living illegally in Morocco try to enter Europe each year by scaling fences surrounding Ceuta and Melilla, Spain’s other North African enclave.
More than 3,800 migrants have crossed the border into Ceuta and Melilla so far this year, according to the U.N. refugee agency UNHCR.
The route accounted for 14 per cent of the total 27,600 who arrived, mainly by sea, between January and July, a 130 per cent increase on the previous year.
The two enclaves recently received reinforcements of 60 police officers each, the Guardia Civil said.

Spain cannot handle the number of people flooding into the country seeking asylum. And yes, they’re fleeing poverty and ‘looking for a better life,’ but at some point, it’s going to be impossible for the Spanish government to house and provide care for all of these people. That day is getting closer and closer.
If you were a Spanish citizen, would you be ok with ‘migrants’ that tossed quicklime at border agents for doing their job?
Just don’t tell the Democrats, they might think it’s a good idea to do the same to the mean, mean ICE agents here that are separating children from their families.
When people are coming into the country armed and use those arms against border guards, I think it’s fair to say that it’s not just ‘sweet innocent refugees.’
This is an invasion.
But that’s just my opinion.
