Ruth Bader Ginsburg Kicks The Shiitake Mushrooms Out Of Dems For Their Treatment Of Kavanaugh

The Notorious RBG is known for being one of the SCOTUS Justices that is the farthest left.  But after this statement, Maxine Waters is going to call for her impeachment.

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg wishes that the confirmation hearings would stop being a ‘highly partisan show’ and it could go back to the way it was.

At an event at the George Washinton University Law School, the 85-year old Ginsberg made the following statement:

The way it was, was right. The way it is, is wrong.

What’s weird is that the audience applauded her statement.

She continued:

The atmosphere in ‘93 was truly bipartisan. The vote on my confirmation was 96 to 3 – even though I had spent about 10 years of my life litigating cases under the auspices of the ACLU … and I was on the ACLU board and one of their general counsel.

My White House handlers asked me questions about my ACLU affiliation. They were very nervous about it. And I said forget it, just forget it, there’s nothing you can do can lead me to bad-mouth the ACLU — And not a single question, No senator asked me any question about that.

It was the same for Justice [Stephen] Breyer who was nominated a year later. He had in the 90s — the numbers. Or think of Justice Scalia, who was certainly a known character …What was it, 1986? He had been a law professor and written many things. He had been on the D.C. Circuit [Court of Appeals]. The vote was unanimous. Every Democrat and every Republican voted for him. But that’s the way it should be. Instead of what it’s become, a highly-partisan show.

If the Republicans move in lock-step, so do Democrats.

I wish I could wave a magic wand and have it go back to the way it was.

Watch:

Well, looks like I just lost a bet.

I just agreed with Ruth Bader Ginsberg on something.

It’s making me feel weird.

Do you agree with the Notorious RBG?
