What ‘core principle’ drove such a drastic flip-flop on National Security issues?
Is it hatred for Trump?
Pleasing their donor base?
Obama’s dream of ‘Fundamentally Transforming’ the nation?
Or is it simple hatred of Trump?
Watch this video and decide for yourself:
Let’s not do a shutdown, Democrats – do what’s right for the American People! pic.twitter.com/bZg07ZKQqo

And since the critical ten votes would have to be found in the Senate, here is Schumer’s “evolution” on the border issue.
Watch sht Head schumer talk about how bad illegal immigration is.. He even sponsored a bill FOR A WALL IN 2013..what happened chucky?https://t.co/mFA0rxBDv3

Hey Chuck — that’s quite a change, there. In a really short time, too. What happened?
While a man of principle might possibly change his mind, when if he does so, he’s either admitting he was wrong, or he is exchanging one good principle for a better one. Chuck has made no such argument to explain why he switched.
Could it be blind opposition to Trump? Sure. That’s one good explanation.
As damning as that explanation is, the other one is even MORE cynical. Given a choice between doing what’s right for the nation, and what’s right for seizing and holding political power, they chose power.
The argument in favor of that explanation is pretty damning.
The Center for American Progress (CAP) Action Fund memo, which circulated Monday, called on Democrats to “refuse to offer any votes for Republican spending bills that do not offer a fix for Dreamers and instead appropriate funds to deport them.”
The memo from the left-leaning think tank also said that protecting DACA is not only a “moral imperative” but also a “critical component” in winning elections.
“The fight to protect Dreamers is not only a moral imperative, it is also a critical component of the Democratic Party’s future electoral success,” the memo read.
It finished, “If Democrats don’t try to do everything in their power to defend Dreamers, that will jeopardize Democrats’ electoral chances in 2018 and beyond.”
Is there any wonder Schumer and Pelosi looked so awkward when the press was invited to observe their meeting?
Is it because they’ve chosen Illegal Immigrants over the Citizens they were elected to represent?
