Funny how our so much of our ‘free’ press behaves like a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Democrat party, isn’t it?
They never miss a chance to take a swipe at Trump. Even if they have to lie to do it.
Last summer, they were incensed over the child separation policy. What triggered that crisis? Photos of children in holding cells. (During Obama’s administration.) The photos were published by Obama’s old speechwriter, Jon Favreau.
Even the Leftist ‘fact-check’ site, Politifact admitted the following:
“Democrats mistakenly tweet 2014 pictures from Obama’s term showing children from the Border in steel cages,” Trump tweeted May 29. “They thought it was recent pictures in order to make us look bad, but backfires. Dems must agree to Wall and new Border Protection for good of country…Bipartisan Bill!”
…Trump’s tweet is accurate. One of the Democrats who shared the photo was Jon Favreau, a former Obama speechwriter.
Favreau, who has one million followers on Twitter, tweeted on May 27: “Look at these pictures. This is happening right now, and the only debate that matters is how we force our government to get these kids back to their families as fast as humanly possible.”

Even though the cages were from the Obama years, the news media dutifully redirected that outrage to Trump’s administration and insisted that what wasn’t a particularly critical story when Obama was doing it, is suddenly a story of Critical importance. One that is especially damning of the (current) President. How convenient for them that Obama dodges that bullet.
More recently, a seven-year-old Guatemalan girl died shortly after entering the US with 162 other illegal immigrants. Medics, when realizing her condition, tried to save her, but she died of dehydration and shock within hours of being picked up by Border Patrol.
MSNBC immediately blamed American border agents and specifically laid the blame at Trump’s feet, without any justification for having done so.

While visiting a migrant center in Mexico, Rep. Beto O’Rourke condemns the Trump administration’s response to a 7-year-old who died at the border waiting for medical care. But under the Trump administration, there many others like her. NBC’s Cal Perry tells Lawrence about the struggles migrants who are seeking asylum face trying to cross the border.
Implication: Trump is to blame for the little girl’s death. Obviously, they don’t know (or care to know) how dehydration works. The girl’s death is just a useful cudgel with which to beat Trump.
Just days later, they’ve done it again. With that dehydration story still fresh in their audience’s mind, they run the following story:
Notice the chyron at the bottom of the photo. They are explicitly linking this girl’s death from dehydration to images of these border agents dumping out water jugs that have been left to make it easier for illegal immigrants to defy the law.
What’s wrong with it? The video they are linking to this seven-year-old girl’s death was filmed roughly the same year she was born, as you can see in the video. Watch the lower-right corner, where it gives the date as 2011. The audience is being manipulated, and MSNBC is doing it knowingly.
Since MSNBC is contending that ‘bad acts’ done by border agents are directly attributable to malice and racism on the President’s part, and they are maintaining that the dumping of this water is — in fact — a ‘bad act’…
Would it not follow then, that MSNBC is denouncing Barack Obama as a malicious racist that hates Immigrants? Or have they just exposed a significant clue to how ‘owned’ the supposedly Free press really are? There’s no third option.
