Nancy and Co dismiss the importance of stemming immigration — does THIS raise any red flags?
A rancher says she’s found prayer rugs on her property, and that there has been a spike in “OTM” (other-than-Mexican) illegal entry into America.
Is that a problem?
“There’s a lot of people coming in not just from Mexico,” the rancher said. “People, the general public, just don’t get the terrorist threats of that. That’s what’s really scary. You don’t know what’s coming across. We’ve found prayer rugs out here. It’s unreal. It’s not just Mexican nationals that are coming across.”
Her comments were part of a larger conversation about how many in the region believe migrants are coming to the U.S. illegally from all over the world, not just Central America.
Border Patrol and its parent agency, Customs and Border Protection, did not respond to multiple interview requests. But CBP’s Arizona region issued a statement on Twitter Wednesday that said agents had arrested people from across the world over the past five days.

Here’s another, related video from the same State along the border:
What makes that part of the border so vulnerable?
They’re remote, with wide open spaces, no local police department, and no physical obstacle preventing people from crossing.
Even PBS has picked up on it, as recently as December 18th, 2018, posting this story only four days before the partial government shutdown began over this very issue.
Headline as follows:
U.S. officials baffled by large migrant groups flocking to remote New Mexico border crossing
Large numbers of Guatemalan families and unaccompanied children are surrendering to U.S. immigration agents in an extremely remote and dangerous stretch of New Mexico desert, a new smuggling route that has baffled authorities.

We’ve got an identified border crossing at a relatively undefended stretch of border — which puts both residents and trespassers in real danger. We were discussing it at a national level literally days before the shutdown.
But despite news like that, or news like this:

Pelosi and Schumer refuse to fund border security anyway.
And if PRAYER rugs are turning up at the border..?
In our post-9/11 world, what motives should we ascribe to Muslims and other “OTM” entrants who are avoiding lawful ports of entry into America?
Well, you don’t have to watch “Sicario 2: Day of the Soldato” to imagine those implications.
However desperate the Democrats are for any short-term political gains their open-border policy might give them, they do NOT want that kind of blood on their hands.
Just build the damned wall already.
