Especially when we’ve got memes to keep mocking her with.
Elizabeth Warren was in a good position to contend for her party’s top spot in 2020. She had a chance to walk back her high-cheekbones story about being ‘native’ — and who can forget her Pow Wow Chow cookbook entry — as just something her grandmother said. She could have distanced herself from that statement and moved forward with her candidacy.
But no, she rolled those intersectional dice and went for broke.
Snake eyes.
She took the DNA test, and it turns out she’s one 1024th Native… something. That could even mean Peruvian, for all we know. The testing doesn’t have sufficient numbers to be more specific.
When that news came out, the internet had some fun with it:

Now that she’s declared herself the candidate, Trump’s free and clear to bang that drum all he wants. He hit her on Twitter with a really solid meme.

It took the 2020 race and mashed it up with her identity-politics folly.

Something Trump gets that the Stick-in-the-mud DC crowd hasn’t is the power of derisive humor.
The Media(D) will insulate the Lefti’s candidates against ordinary accusations and logical argument. They have decades of experience running circles around political hopefuls, rewriting talking points to the benefit of their side, and detriment of ours.
But the reason Trump’s tweets, and the Memes in 2016 had the Left running scared is because the left has ZERO defense against humor. (Social media is now explicitly censoring and throttling memes because they have been as devastatingly effective today as pamphleteers were back in colonial times.)
A politician can deflect attacks all day long.
But open mockery? That’s a whole different ballgame.
Leftist politicians have gone so long without being seriously challenged in that way that they’ve got no idea how to defend against it.
Honestly, that’s part of the reason we elected Trump in the first place.
