While Ilhan Omar obvious despises both America and the President, a British Muslim Doctor has a very different tale to tell about the Muslim view of America.
Just because some activists on the left portray Trump as a bigot despised around the world, doesn’t mean that’s the general consensus. (So much for that ‘Muslim Ban’ narrative.)
Trump — and even Dubya — have more fans out there than CNN would want to admit.
AHMED: One thing the viewers should know, this president and this administration is often castigated as Islamophobic, but I move in the Muslim word, in Egypt, in Oman, in Jordan, in Iraqi Kurdistan, where this president is beloved. This president and the Republican Party going back to George Bush is very dearly held. Today is the anniversary of Halabja, the massacre of 180,000 Kurds at the hands of Saddam Hussein. That only change would [be] because of a Republican president. So it is very important not to lose so much perspective that we start believing our entire government is Islamophobic. That is not the case.

She went on to define Islamophobia not by cultural cudgel it has been used by for a dozen years or more, but by an almost opposite definition.
Islamophobia actually means the refusal to scrutinize or examine Islam or Islamism, Islamist institutions. Muslims and Christians in Pakistan when they challenged Islamism, when they defended Asia Bibi, the Christian woman that was on death row were killed, assassinated for their purported Islamophobia.

By that definition, the REAL Islamophobes are anyone so ‘woke’ that they dare not call out a Muslim when her idea is wrong. You know, like the entire Democrat Party when Ilhan Omar spouted off with antisemitic tropes.
And the doctor went there, too.
Ahmed implicitly condemned Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) for her anti-Semitic statements, saying, “In this country in the United States, we have Islamists mother — Muslim brotherhood front groups that are claiming Muslims are victims. We just saw a few weeks ago the exploitation of this narrative in the trivialization of anti-Semitism. Anti-Semitism occurred in Congress and the reaction was when there was outrage that this was somehow hate directed at a Muslim who is spewing Islamist ideology. So we have to be extremely clear about the language, clear about the narrative because that controls.”
Whitfield wanted to make sure: “You’re talking about Representative Omar as — yes, you’re talking about Representative Omar as an example of that.”
Ahmed answered, “Yes.”

A Muslim doctor just called out Omar as an Islamist, and the Democrats as enabling cowards.

All this is to underscore that it is not possible to peg Omar as representative of a collective Muslim identity. However, she checks off the boxes for Islamist representation, and that comes down to three key factors:
Vitriolic hate for Israel, while blurring or tolerating gross anti-Semitism alongside sloppy scrutiny of Israeli policies.
Absolute disinterest in good faith engagement and dialogue with non-Islamist personalities, particularly Muslim reformers.
Using Western political channels to advance the agenda of Islamic supremacism, where Islam is narrowly defined by a small segment of a Muslim demographic. This demographic drives the public narrative through a visible Muslim identity, which must currently be seen as oppressed or victimized to gain additional public favor and tolerance that then reinforces the underlying supremacism.
