In the aftermath of the horrific attacks on a couple of mosques in New Zealand, Muslims and leftists are playing the blame game as to why such violence took place. Those being blamed include the Donald (because of his travel ban towards people from several Muslim nations) and Chelsea Clinton (since she criticized Congresswoman Ilhan Omar for her Anti-Semitism).
While violence towards Muslims has occurred in the West on occasion, as well as taking place in the Muslim world (e.g. Sunni attacks on Shiites), it pales in comparison to the numerous violence that Muslims have engaged in against non- Muslims over the years (or centuries for that matter).
According to the Religion of Peace website, Islamic terrorists have carried out
more than 34,731 deadly terrorist attacks since 9/11. And here are some other
statistics from this website:
Jihadists killed more people in November 2014 (5,000) than the Spanish
Inquisition did during a 350 year period (2,000-3,000).
Jihadists have killed more people in the past 70 years than the Ku Klux Klan
did.
Jihadists killed more people on one day in June 2014 (1,566) than the
number of people executed in America over the past 40 years (1,423).
Jihadist killed far more people in the United States in the 21 st Century (over
3,000) than right-wing extremists did (around 50).
Another factor in regards to both Islamic extremism and right-wing extremism is
political correctness. Recently, some of the acts of violence by Muslims have
been attributed to mental illness by the authorities in several countries, and
hence nothing to do with the perpetrator’s religion (despite the evidence showing
otherwise).
And terrorist attacks are not the only crimes committed by Muslims. Honor
killings, domestic abuse, sexual assault, and human trafficking have also occurred,
both in the Muslim world and in the West. And despite the increasing numbers of
incidents in the West, political correctness dictates that such matters are to be
kept quiet, for fears of hate crimes being committed against Muslims or for the fear or being labelled as an Islamophobe (and possibly being arrested for inciting hatred).
And Muslims are not only committing acts of violence but are also encouraging them (e.g. calls for the murder of Jews in various mosques in America). There is one article at the Religion of Peace website that sums it up: Political Correctness kills.
