EPIC: Franklin Graham Calls For A Special Day Of PRAYER For President Trump

Mark your calendars, Prayer Warriors!

AOC recently tossed in her ha’penny’s worth of knowledge regarding theology and prayer, and, well, that was a big ol’ cup of nonsense. Besides, didn’t she think that “thoughts and prayers” aren’t enough when a tragedy occurs?

Someone should tell Rep. Occasional-Cortex that Christians believe “the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”

Which brings us to today’s news…

Evangelist Franklin Graham posted a message on Facebook to all Christians in the United States to pray for President Donald J. Trump on June 2. He’s not alone, either. He wrote, “Along with 250+ Christian leaders, I am asking followers of Christ across our nation to set aside next Sunday, June 2, as a special day of prayer for the President, Donald J. Trump.”

Graham stated that this was a critical time for America and that the enemies of the President are trying to do everything to destroy him. Graham said that “the only hope for [President Trump] and this nation, is God.”

Along with 250+ Christian leaders, I am asking followers of Christ across our nation to set aside next Sunday, June 2, as a special day of prayer for the President, Donald J. Trump.

President Trump’s enemies continue to try everything to destroy him, his family, and the presidency. In the history of our country, no president has been attacked as he has. I believe the only hope for him, and this nation, is God.

This is a critical time for America. We’re on the edge of a precipice. Time is short. We need to pray for God to intervene. We need to ask God to protect, strengthen, encourage, and guide the President.

We know that God hears and answers prayer. He can soften hearts and change minds. He is all-powerful, and He rules over the affairs of nations. The Bible instructs us to pray for those in authority, “that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior” (1 Timothy 2:2–3).

On June 2, we ask that pastors would lead their congregations in praying for the President, that Sunday schools and other groups would join together and pray, and that individuals and families across the country would have a special focus on praying for the President that day.

Would you let me know in the comments below if you commit to pray with us? And will you share this on your social media platforms so that we can have as many people as possible praying?

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 6:12).

Graham is right. The Media(D) has been relentless in the negative coverage of President Trump. Since his election, the coverage has been 90% negative, and yet, the country seems to be doing pretty well, and so is his favorability rating. The Media(D) have told us repeatedly that President Trump isn’t like other Presidents and that’s why they need to be so hard on the reporting. Not once has someone from the New York Times asked what has “enchanted him the most.” The Media(D) betters over at the Washington Post, where “Democracy Dies in Blatant Falsehoods and Collusion Fever-Dreams,” they’ve made the case that the press should be even tougher on President Trump.

And yet — the economy is booming, we’re getting better trade deals, we’re working on peace with North Korea, and unemployment is down to historic lows in key demographics. African Americans, Hispanics, and women are entering the workforce and thriving.

The country is doing so well that the Media(D) has to cling to the Trump’s a “racist-sexist-xenophobic-homophobe” who colludes with Russians (maybe) and then obstructs justice to hide the non-crime fantasy that they report as “news.” If the country was actually falling apart under President Donald J. Trump’s leadership, they could report on that instead. The problem is, everything is chugging along, tickety-boo. They hate that he — the businessman turned reality tv star with zero political experience — is doing a pretty good job and they’ve got to take him down.

The Media(D), the Swamp, and the Democrats are all itching to take him down.

This is why he needs prayer.

The Statement from Faith Leaders posted on the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association website which reads:

“We the undersigned are calling for June 2 to be a special Day of Prayer for the President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, that God would protect, strengthen, embolden, and direct him.

“We believe our nation is at a crossroads, at a dangerous precipice. The only one who can fix our country’s problems is God Himself, and we pray that God will bless our president and our nation for His glory.”
