WATCH: Blind, Autistic Young Man Blows America’s Got Talent Judges Away

Written by Wes Walker on May 30, 2019

This guy has staggering talent. If there’s any one lesson these shows teach us, it’s ‘you can’t judge a book by its cover’.

Is he blind AND autistic? Yes, that’s accurate, but that’s not ALL that he is.

Under the ‘quality of life’ argument used as justification both for killing children in the womb and for ‘euthanizing’ people whose prognosis is poor, many would never have recognized this young man as the treasure he is. He would have been dismissively called a ‘burden on society’.

Nothing could be further from the truth. Kodi Lee is a genuine blessing.

Although some might not know how to look past his disabilities and see his humanity, fortunately for us, his delightful mother is not such a shallow person.

“He is an entertainer.”

Yes, he is. And he’s a lot more than that. He’s an inspiration.

More than that, he’s a rare talent. And at only 22 years old, he has a wonderful future ahead of him.

Of course they gave him that ‘golden buzzer’. After hearing a performance like his, how could they not?

For anyone who would like to follow him on Twitter, you can find him at @Kodileerocks.

If Kodi Lee can kick down the barriers that stand in the way of his dreams, what’s YOUR excuse?
