Democratic Poll Has Some BAD NEWS For AOC & Omar

Things are not looking good for the Media(D)’s new heroes…

…it appears that they aren’t the “new heroes” of the vast majority of Americans.

A new poll by Axios is reportedly being circulated by top Democrats because they are concerned that the far-left freshman Congresswomen, known as “The Squad”, are defining the races in all Democrat districts.

In particular, there is a concern that New York Congresswoman, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, is painting a particular picture of what the Democratic Party stands for, and that’s a problem in swing districts. The fear is that the views of the Democratic Socialist from New York’s 14th Congressional District is going too far to the left and is alienating swing voters in close districts.

The poll which was taken in May, before the big dust-up between The Squad and Speaker Nancy Pelosi(D-CA), shows that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez(D-NY) is recognized by the vast majority of voters, but not well-liked.

This should not be a surprise because a June Quinnipiac poll showed that AOC isn’t viewed favorably in her own district. She has a 2:1 ratio of unfavorability, most people don’t believe that she has their best interests at heart, and most would vote against her given the opportunity.

In addition, Rep. Ilhan Omar(D-MN) is well recognized, but only is suffering from a single-digit favorability rating. It was so bad that Axios even wrote “not a typo” in their report.

Their focus on rebranding “Socialism” isn’t working. The majority of voters view Socialism negatively while only 18% of voters have a favorable view.

The findings:

Ocasio-Cortez was recognized by 74% of voters in the poll; 22% had a favorable view.
Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota — another member of The Squad — was recognized by 53% of the voters; 9% (not a typo) had a favorable view.

Socialism was viewed favorably by 18% of the voters and unfavorably by 69%.

Capitalism was 56% favorable; 32% unfavorable.

The Squad isn’t backing down — they’re doubling-down.

“We never need to ask for permission or wait for an invitation to lead,” Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota said when asked what she would say to women of color who are frustrated or hurt by comments that seek to minimize their impact or vilify them. She said later that there’s a “constant struggle oftentimes with people who have power about sharing that power.”

Omar added: “We are not really in the business of asking for the share of that power. We’re in the business of trying to grab that power and return it to the people.”

Rep. Ayanna Pressley(D-MA), the least memorable member of the Squad that we can’t call “Forgettable Moesha” because that would apparently be racist, but she can call Kellyanne Conway “Distraction Becky” (also racist), has decided that the Democratic Party needs to make sure that minorities that want to run for office need to “represent” the views “of their communities” or not bother.

Well, gee, doesn’t that seem a wee bit racist to say that you can only have particular views if your skin is a certain color, or if you identify as a member of the LGBTQ+ community?

Gee, I wonder why these folks aren’t popular with the average Americans?

We’ve all seen the dishonest games the left have played with the power they’re entrusted with, they’re obviously unworthy of that trust.

But what about 2020? Could a moral person pull a lever for Trump with their integrity intact? Would Jesus himself vote for Trump? We’re glad you asked. There’s a brand new book that covers precisely that question:

“Would Jesus Vote For Trump?” by Doug Giles and Brandon Vallorani.

Would Jesus ever choose someone, with a less than stellar past, to be a leader? Would Jesus be cool with how Trump blasts CNN, The Left, and his feckless ‘compadres’ on The Right? What about Health Care? Would the Great Physician give Trump’s opposition to ObamaCare the ‘two thumbs up?’ Find out in this BEST-SELLER!
