Justin Bieber Calls Out President Trump – Here’s The Bieb’s ‘Reason’

Just because someone is a celebrity, it doesn’t mean that they are an expert on policy. This is a perfect example.

It always amazes me when people look to celebrities as “experts” on everything. Especially celebrities that have revealed over the years their inability to make mature, reasoned decisions, and who have clearly demonstrated that they lack wisdom.

Justin Bieber is still a young man and was thrown into the spotlight at an incredibly young age. He didn’t handle it well and made a lot of mistakes. Recently, he seems to be making some more mature life choices, including remaining celibate for a year before getting married to Hailey Baldwin.

Making the right choices in one area of life (finally) doesn’t mean that you’re an expert in everything, however.

Bieber is free to express his opinions, but he clearly isn’t as well informed as he thinks he is.

First, Bieber retweeted the President when it was announced on Twitter that POTUS was going to talk to the Prime Minister of Sweden about the arrest and detention of American rapper, A$AP Rocky.

For those of you unfamiliar with the case, A$AP Rocky was arrested in Sweden for “suspected aggravated assault” during what became a street brawl on the European leg of the tour. A$AP Rocky’s supporters say that the rapper was acting in self-defense.

A$AP Rocky — whose given name is Rakim Mayers — is part of the hip-hop collective A$AP Mob, and was in Sweden as part of the European leg of his tour

The rapper is “suspected of aggravated assault,” according to a press release posted to the website of the Stockholm prosecutor’s office and translated from Swedish to English by ABC News.

But in an Instagram post shared on Tuesday, Mayers’ manager, John Ehmann, wrote that the rapper was acting in “self-defense” after he, his bodyguard and two other performers were “were harassed and physically assaulted by a group of men in the area.”

Kanye West contacted the President about the situation to see if he could intervene.

“A$AP Rocky is a situation in Sweden. Sweden’s a great country and they’re friends of mine, the leadership. And we are going to be calling, we’ll be talking to them, we’ve already started and many, many members of the African-American community have called me — friends of mine, and said could you help?” Trump told reporters on Friday when asked about the case.

But then Bieber decided to critique the President by asking him to “let those kids out of cages.”

That tweet is nearing 1 million likes, but there were many people trying to educate the Canadian immigrant.

First, Luke Skywalker had to chime in, and (I think this is a first!) I actually agree with him.

The your/you’re thing really bothers me. Maybe that’s petty, but when you get 1,000,000 likes, for a tweet, it shouldn’t have basic errors. It’s the editor in me.

But the majority of the criticism was about the “kids in cages” comment.

Many conservatives pointed out that the cages were in place during the Obama administration and Biebs said nothing back then.

There were a lot of these, but by far, the best (and most underrated response) was by a Twitter account for an Angel family.

Does Bieber know that deaths associated with illegal border crossing are down under the Trump administration?

Or that, according to a government report from last week, the Trump administration has reunited 95% of the children detained at the southern border with their families?

Why confuse things with facts?

It’s all fine and dandy for Bieber, a Canadian, whose star status allowed him to bypass the considerable line of would-be legal immigrants to the United States.

Bieber doesn’t seem to care that keeping children in “cages” is keeping 30 percent of them away from the smugglers that they are not related to.

Does Justin Bieber realize that 1 in 3 women and girls are sexually assaulted in their journey crossing the border illegally?

And that supporting illegal border crossing encourages both sexual assault, human trafficking, and financially predatory behavior from smugglers besides turning a blind eye to criminals and drug traffickers?

Does he also know that these people claiming asylum are able to do so at a legal point of entry? That it’s not just people from Central and South America that are flooding the southern border? And that the vast majority of these cases don’t even qualify for asylum? Obama even said so:

Bieber doesn’t know what it’s like to have to spend thousands of dollars on immigration lawyers, wait in line, and hope that everything was done properly. His people did that for him, and his money and fame ensured that he hired a good lawyer.

He doesn’t know the frustration of having your immigration status completely out of your hands and yet being held legally responsible for it and face possible deportation and/or restrictions on re-entry.

He doesn’t know how insulting it is to legal immigrants to know that people can just walk across the border with someone else’s child in tow and claim asylum with the assistance of human smugglers that take the little money that they have managed to save.

He doesn’t know any of those things but feels the need to lecture the President (and the rest of us) on immigration policy.

Look, no one wants to see kids in cages separated from their families, but what exactly are the alternatives? Put children in facilities with adults that they may not be related to or just let them go?

The problem is that adults are bringing children across the border illegally. Some of those adults are parents putting their children at risk. Isn’t that child endangerment?

Illegal immigration isn’t compassionate. It is dangerous, patently unfair, and it really, really needs to end.

We’ve all seen the dishonest games the left have played with the power they’re entrusted with, they’re obviously unworthy of that trust.

But what about 2020? Could a moral person pull a lever for Trump with their integrity intact? Would Jesus himself vote for Trump? We’re glad you asked. There’s a brand new book that covers precisely that question:

“Would Jesus Vote For Trump?” by Doug Giles and Brandon Vallorani.

Would Jesus ever choose someone, with a less than stellar past, to be a leader? Would Jesus be cool with how Trump blasts CNN, The Left, and his feckless ‘compadres’ on The Right? What about Health Care? Would the Great Physician give Trump’s opposition to ObamaCare the ‘two thumbs up?’ Find out in this BEST-SELLER!
