Dems Throw Support Behind Their Largest Religious Demographic… And It ISN’T Christians
Will this mean they finally drop their preening pretense at being the better Christians?
For anyone who may have missed it, the Democrats took a special resolution welcoming the non-religious to the party.
Naturally, there are non-religious people across the political spectrum. But most of the time, their irreligion is NOT looked at as their primary or defining characteristic. They typically look to some kind of principles, ideas or values they hold to for that.
But the Democrats are about nothing if not popping everyone into their little identity boxes. So now the Democrats are making alliances with the irreligious as a group.
It’s a natural fit, seeing as that is the party’s LARGEST ‘religious’ demographic.
The Democratic National Committee (DNC) passed a resolution at its summer meeting championing āreligiously unaffiliatedā voters, who the resolution noted are the ālargest religious groupā within the party.
The DNCās āResolution Regarding the Religiously Unaffiliated Demographicā stated that āreligiously unaffiliated Americans overwhelmingly share the Democratic Partyās values,ā and āhave often been subjected to unfair bias and exclusion in American society.ā

Naturally, they steeped their language in the most sanctimonious of terms.
It said āthose most loudly claiming that morals, values, and patriotism must be defined by their particular religious views have used those religious views, with misplaced claims of āreligious liberty,ā to justify public policy that has threatened the civil rights and liberties of many Americans, including but not limited to the LGBT community, women, and ethnic and religious/nonreligious minorities.ā

And they claim to be the natural moral choice of the devout Christian?
How SURE are they about that, really? Because there’s a whole BOOK full of reasons why they’d be wrong.
We’ve all seen the dishonest games the left have played with the power they’re entrusted with, they’re obviously unworthy of that trust.
But what about 2020? Could a moral person pull a lever for Trump with their integrity intact? Would Jesus himself vote for Trump? We’re glad you asked. There’s a brand new book that covers precisely that question:
“Would Jesus Vote For Trump?” by Doug Giles and Brandon Vallorani.
Would Jesus ever choose someone, with a less than stellar past, to be a leader? Would Jesus be cool with how Trump blasts CNN, The Left, and his feckless ācompadresā on The Right? What about Health Care? Would the Great Physician give Trumpās opposition to ObamaCare the ātwo thumbs up?ā Find out in this BEST-SELLER!
