Chick-Fil-A: Angry Leftists Force UK Location To Close… But Do NOT Protest THIS

What is up with protesters on the left getting INTENSELY angry about chicken sandwiches, while ignoring problems that really touch on issues of justice?

Why do they prefer pouring so much energy into fake outrage issues when real people are suffering?

When the opening of Chick-Fil-A was announced in the UK, a public pressure campaign was launched against the shopping center that hosted them as soon as it was opened.

As we have come to expect of British ‘sensibilities’ they caved immediately.

Gay rights campaigners called for a boycott of Chick-fil-A, which opened its first branch at The Oracle shopping centre in Reading on 10 October.

…According to US news website Think Progress, in 2017 the Chick-fil-A Foundation donated millions of dollars to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the Paul Anderson Youth Home and the US Salvation Army.

Campaigners from LGBT organisation, Reading Pride, said all three organisations have a reputation of being hostile to LGBT rights.

…”There are 145,000 people – black, white; gay, straight; Christian, non-Christian – who represent Chick-fil-A.”

In a statement, the UK Salvation Army said it “strongly objected to being presented as homophobic or transphobic”, adding that it had LGBT+ members and served people “without discrimination”.

That group seems to carry a fair amount of political clout. Have they put that clout to any GOOD use? Or do they just target and oppose donations to Christian Charities whose theology is heretical to their secular dogma?

Has anyone spoken up about this? No? How come?

A case of female genital mutilation (FGM) is either discovered or treated at a medical appointment in England every hour, according to analysis of NHS statistics by a charity.

Between April 2015 and March 2016 there were 8,656 times when women or girls attended doctors’ surgeries or hospitals and the problem was assessed — the equivalent of one every 61 minutes.

Among those who attended, a case of FGM is newly recorded every 92 minutes on average.

A group with such a narrow focus on sex should be particularly interested in girls having their clitoris cut out, right?

Or — in keeping with the theme of sex — what about this story from about a year ago? Is THAT worth pressuring change over?

Up to 1,000 children could have been abused in Britain’s biggest ever child abuse scandal, an investigation has revealed.

Hundreds of children, some as young as 11, are estimated to have been drugged, beaten and raped over a 40-year period in the town of Telford.

Lucy Allan, the Conservative MP for Telford, has called for an inquiry into child sexual exploitation, saying the latest reports were “extremely serious and shocking”. She has previously called for a “Rotherham-style inquiry” into the allegations.

“There must now be an independent inquiry into child sexual exploitation in Telford so that our community can have absolute confidence in the authorities,” she told the Sunday Mirror.

The investigation claims that allegations dating back to the 1980s were mishandled by authorities in Telford, who repeatedly failed to punish a network of abusers.

Are they outraged at the decades-long conspiracy of silence on the part of authorities who had both the power and responsibility of protecting these victims? Will they shine that media spotlight on deficiencies of the Press — who refused to cover one of those trials, and cheered the arrest and imprisonment of Tommy Robinson who stepped up to do their job for them?

No. Because these protests are not about justice, they are about kneecapping an organization whose goals they do not share, specifically CHRISTIAN ones.
