Durham Takes A Closer Look At Four KEY PLAYERS In Trump-Russia Investigation

Where are all those media clips about ‘the walls closing in’ when you can really use them?

Of course, it’s not Trump that those proverbial walls are closing in on. It’s the sanctimonious Trump-hating Democrats.

When it was the Mueller investigation (deliberately orchestrated by Comey and probably Rosenstein) setting out in an effort to kneecap President Trump, the media salivated over every little move they made. Whenever it became known he set his sights on somene they wondered aloud if this, FINALLY, would be the lynch-pin that would *finally* take down Trump.

It was not.

But now that we have wrapped up THAT investigation, the AG is free to look into the spying on Trump without any outraged cries of ‘obstruction of justice’

And what the Special Investigator Barr has appointed is digging up is… interesting.

They were expecting to have the investigation wrapped up in a neat little bow by the summer… but once they spoke to Christoper Steele, they announced that they would be extending the investigation.

And now Durham is coming back from Rome perhaps from talking to Mifsud. We await his next steps with great interest. But we have some clues as to what they might be.

The secretive Justice Department inquiry into the Trump-Russia investigation’s origins now includes former CIA Director John Brennan, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, former FBI special agent Peter Strzok, and British ex-spy Christopher Steele.

U.S. Attorney John Durham, whose investigative portfolio recently expanded to include events from the launch of the inquiry in 2016 through the appointment of special counsel Robert Mueller in 2017, has taken overseas fact-finding trips. But Durham’s focus on the actions taken by specific individuals makes his mission look like it could transform into a criminal investigation. And the line of questioning Durham has taken with potential witnesses — some in line with claims made by President Trump and other Republicans — puts his efforts into sharper focus.

Brennan, a strident Trump critic, told NBC News that Durham wants to interview him and Clapper as Durham looks into the intelligence community’s actions as it examined possible ties between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin. Brennan and Clapper led the Obama administration’s intelligence agencies when some Republicans allege the CIA illicitly ensnared members of the Trump campaign using informants, though Democrats have dismissed this. Brennan and Clapper played leadership roles in the intelligence community’s assessment of Russian election interference in 2016.

The Left loves trying to portray this as some sort of a conspiracy theory. This is the same Left that assured us that Mueller was certain to nail Trump to the wall as a Russian patsy.

Meanwhile, we could point to literally DOZENS of data points of suspicious activity that makes it look highly probable that this same highly-placed cast of characters abused their authority to kick the feet out from under Trump before he could ever get started.
