GREAT DAD: This Kid Sings A Wicked Duet With Her Daddy… Sure Beats Staring Into A Screen

Written by Wes Walker on October 7, 2019

With a dad that puts in the time with his kid like this, it’s a pretty good bet this darling little girl will turn out ok.

And she’s got a great set of pipes, too!

This dad pulled out his guitar, sat down and sang the theme song from Toy Story with his little girl. They’ve obviously done this before… probably pretty often too, because she absolutely NAILED her part in the song, and knew all the words.

Forget the obvious natural talent that dad and daughter have in this video. Seeing them come together to do something as wholesome as this, that was not at all reliant on tech was refreshing.

It’s the sort of thing that you really don’t need a lot of talent to pull off. You just need the time and the inclination.

And when you see how big the smile on this kid’s face is, it reminds you just HOW ‘worth it’ these moments really are.

With so many horror stories about parents dropping the ball, or being absolutely horrible people to their kids, it’s refreshing to have one as wholesome as this to share.

The video isn’t new — apparently, it first made the rounds a couple of years ago. But it has been making the rounds again. And since we didn’t give it the attention it deserved the first time around, we’re giving it to our readers now.

For anyone wondering, the little girl’s name is Claire Ryann Crosby. She was probably 4 in this video. Her dad’s name is Dave.

Raising Righteous & Rowdy Girls

In ‘Raising Righteous and Rowdy Girls’, Doug Giles reinforces the notion that little women don’t need to be pampered by their fathers to turn out right. And having met his beautiful daughters, I know his philosophy works. As a strong-willed woman who thinks her daddy is the greatest guy in the world, I can tell you this is a must-read for every man who hopes to earn the same title. —-S.E.
