Jim Jordan Tweet Reveals Shifty Schiff’s LATEST Draconian Impeachment Tactic — It’s UGLY

Written by Wes Walker on October 20, 2019

How is this NOT a gross abuse of power from the supposed ‘defenders’ of the Constitution?

You didn’t think it had gotten as bad as it can get, did you? You are watching — in real time — exactly what unchecked power looks like.

Unscrupulous hacks like Pelosi and Schiff are THE REASON we have a system of checks and balances. They are exactly the sort of unchecked human nature against which the Framers warned us.

It shouldn’t surprise us. He opened the ‘hearings’ with a lie that he called ‘parody’ when called out on it.

His staffers have been meeting with multiple witnesses (including the whistleblower, who was, conveniently, known to them) without disclosing the conflict — even taking a trip that is sponsored by a group connected to no less than Burisma itself.

The hearings which are SO super-sensitive that they cannot even be watched by other Members of Congress. Recall that they threw out Matt Gaetz even though, historically, it was the House Judicial Committee (where he is a member) that OVERSEES impeachment proceedings.

If they are SO super-sensitive that they held in a SCIF, why are all the quotes most useful to framing the Democrat hit job on Trump leaked almost in Real Time when even Trump’s lawyers cannot sit and hear what is being testified against him?

They can’t have it both ways: Schiff himself has likened it to a Grand Jury Inquiry — but anyone who leaks Grand Jury Testimony faces criminal charges.

Robert Girardi, for example, faced 8 years in prison for leaking Grand Jury Testimony to the mob. How is Schiff (or his allies) leaking damaging info to the Press so they can ‘whack’ the President on the evening news any different? How is that not a complete corruption of every safeguard the Framers ever envisioned?

But leave it to Schiff to find a way to make it worse still.

Here’s something the Supreme Court said in 1980 that Democrats might want to consider:

[Supreme Court precedent] recognized that open trials are bulwarks of our free and democratic government: public access to court proceedings is one of the numerous “checks and balances” of our system, because “contemporaneous review in the forum of public opinion is an effective restraint on possible abuse of judicial power.” — GrandJuryTarget

For all their bluster, the power that’s REALLY out of control is that of the power-mad Democrats, frustrated by the interruption of their goal of ‘Fundamentally Transforming’ America.
