At a recent listening party, Kanye West spoke about his faith. Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian posted photos on Instagram of her visit to an ancient Armenian cathedral.
The evolution of Kanye West has been going on for quite a while, but the changes that he has made this year have been pretty dramatic. The rapper has been holding Sunday Services in various locations for some time.
Kanye has said that he will only make Gospel music from now on. Kanye also said that he isn’t just performing for entertainment anymore — he is spreading the Gospel.
Adam Tyson, a pastor from Southern California, told Fox News recently he has been leading West in a Bible study for months now and “would teach from God’s Word about how salvation is only by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.”
It seems that Kanye is taking the spreading of the Gospel quite seriously.
On Saturday morning, Kim and Kanye made a surprise appearance at Howard University, in Washington, D.C., for a pop-up service where West gave a 10-minute speech, in which he shared, “If you believe that Jesus died for your sins, then you know the gospel… It’s simple. Christians we be making it too hard for people to come and be involved in this.”
Later, at a listening party for his highly anticipated (and still unreleased) Jesus Is King album at George Washington University, he joked that his favorite version of the Bible is the King James Version because it says, “Ye” all the time — a moniker he had adopted for himself. He then said, “Excuse me if I mispronounce anything, I’m a recent convert, that means I recently got saved this year.”
Reading aloud he said, “It is God’s grace that you have been saved, through faith. It is not the result of your own efforts, but God’s gift…The Lord is great and deserves our greatest praise…”
He added: “Imagine someone sending their only son — they don’t have 10 sons — their only son, to die for you!”
West revealed that his favorite verse right now is Mark 1:15, “The time is fulfilled and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent and believe in the gospel. It’s the first thing Jesus said… the first thing J.C. said.”
In one song called Closed on Sunday, Kanye can be heard singing, “Don’t let them indoctrinate. Closed on Sunday. You my Chick-fil-A. This ain’t game day. Get your house in shape. Train your sons. Raise them in the faith. Through temptations, Make sure they’re wide awake. Follow Jesus.”
The Jesus Is King album which has frustrated fans by missing several scheduled release dates is reportedly going to be released alongside an IMAX film which will hit theatres on October 25.

Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian posted photos of herself and the kids at an Armenian cathedral that was built in 303 A.D. In her post, she stated that she and the children were baptized there.
She wrote, “So blessed to have been baptized along with my babies at Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, Armenia’s main cathedral which is sometimes referred to as the Vatican of the Armenian Apostolic Church. This church was built in 303 AD.”

Thank you Armenia for such a memorable trip. So blessed to have been baptized along with my babies at Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, Armenia's main cathedral which is sometimes referred to as the Vatican of the Armenian Apostolic Church. This church was built in 303 AD.📷 @jackie_nickerson
Kardashian was joined by her sister, Kourtney, and their kids. She is seen lighting candles in the cathedral during the service, an orthodox tradition that symbolizes Jesus being the light of the world, Faithwire reports.

That’s pretty amazing news. Christians should be supporting Kanye, praying for him and holding our tongues a bit — which can be quite difficult. We are often quick to criticize, but that’s not one of the fruit of the Spirit, is it? Instead, we should sit back a bit and be sure to let Kanye be Kanye. He is just like the rest of us and he’s going to make mistakes. We all do. Heck, he already apologized for not getting everything right.
Besides, here’s an admonition straight from the Apostle Paul in Philippians 2:12, 13:
Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
Let God do the work in Kanye and pray that he effectively uses his massive platform for the Glory of God.
Sometimes, God uses the most curious of vessels to accomplish His will.

Rules For Radical Christians is not a survival devotional designed to help the young Christian adult limp through life. Rather, it is a road-tested, dominion blueprint that will equip the young adult with leadership skills and sufficient motivation to rise to a place of influence in an overtly non-Christian culture. Rules For Radical Christians gives the reader the keys to become strategically equipped to move into an anti-theistic environment and effectively influence it for the glory of God.
