I absolutely loathe and despise Barack Hussein Obama. He’s nothing but lying, American hater who should be arrested, tried, convicted then executed as a traitor. But I will say this about him: he is one of the only politicians (from both sides) who accurately revealed his true intentions. He did so on October 30, 2008 when he said, “We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.”
After eight years of his destructive policies, apologizing for America before the world and strengthening Islam, all the negativity in the country and outright hatred towards President Trump can directly be laid at Obama’s feet. It is only through the Grace of God and the strength of the American people as a whole that we’re beginning to see some progress towards making America great again.
Granted, we do have a long way yet to go. I want to take this installment to point out two incidences of what happens when liberalism is left unchecked, which, had the Hildabeast won in ’16, would have been our daily norm.
The first consequence of liberalism is the murder at a Popeye’s Chicken restaurant on November 4, 2019.
Popeye’s, in competition with Chick-Fil-A, has been aggressively marketing their chicken sandwiches and have been successful enough that many of their franchise locations routinely run out.
There have been incidents of violence at several locations, but the worst example happened at Oxon Hill, Maryland.
One man who felt he was entitled to do so cut in front of another man in the waiting line. The guy he cut had enough, and this lead to an altercation.
Outside the restaurant, one guy stabbed the other and then fled the scene.
The victim, 28-year-old Kevin Tyrell Davis, died later that evening. Police eventually arrested Ricoh McClain, 30, for the murder.
Okay, I don’t condone murder, especially just for a sandwich. But, I also don’t condone cutting in line. Both these guys are examples of the entitlement mentally going completely out of control and unchecked. It’s understandable that people who work all day, play by the rules, and just want to relax a bit after work, are tired to being pushed around by those who think they’re entitled. Murder is not the answer, though.
However, expect to see more and more of this kind of public behavior. Liberals have always sided with the criminal element and never the victim. The criminals know this and feel emboldened. This is just one completely unfortunate and completely avoidable incident, but it won’t be the last. Normal, “deplorable” types, have had enough of being pushed around.
There will be backlash until liberals start to call out the behavior of their own. And before you think it’s complete speculation on my part, just look at the behavior on college campuses and the behavior of Antifa and BLM.
The next glaring consequence of liberalism is the complete cessation of the rule of law. The aforementioned chicken sandwich incident is just a microcosm of the liberal attitude towards our laws and especially the Constitution in particular. Case in point….read this, the Sixth Amendment.
In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by and impartial jury of the state and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense.
Now, think in terms of what’s been going on with the impeachment farce we’ve witnessed. According to Article 2, Section 4 of the Constitution, a President can be removed from office “on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.” (But so can all civil officers of the United States.)
As we’ve no doubt learned this past month, impeachment is a very lengthy process, involving both Houses of Congress and eventually the Chief Justice of The Supreme Court. Without going into detail as to whether or not the current situation gets that far, back up a bit and re-read the Sixth Amendment again. President Trump has not been given the rights that are mentioned therein. The entire proceedings, as presented and presided over by Rep Schiff, are a complete mockery of the rule of law; in particular, a mockery of part of the Bill of Rights, which are given to every American citizen….which (last time I checked) includes the President.
This is the consequence of liberalism that I want to drive home. If liberals are willing to ignore, even suspend the very Constitution in their effort to remove a duly elected President just because they lost an election, think what they could do to you and me when we refuse to kowtow to them?
