Pregnant Mom Saves Lives Of Husband And Daughter From Home Invaders With AR-15

This is how a firearm evens the playing field.

Last Wednesday at around 9 pm, the King family went through a horrible ordeal. Two masked intruders entered their home, pointed a gun at the head of Jeremy King, 34, and demanded that he give them money. According to the police report, the suspects aggressively grabbed King’s 11-year old daughter and, as he explained that he didn’t have anything for them, one of the men pistol-whipped him and the other repeatedly kicked him in the head.

King’s 31-year old wife, who is 8-months pregnant, was in a back bedroom when the men entered the home. She peeked out to see what was going on and one of the men shot at her. She reacted quickly and grabbed an AR-15 and shot at the intruders.

‘When he came toward the back door in her line of sight, she clipped him,’ King said of the moment his wife returned fire.

‘He made it from my back door to roughly 200 feet out in the front ditch before the AR did its thing.’

King’s wife only fired one round from the AR-15, which struck the suspect as he tried to flee.

When deputies arrived on the scene shortly after, they found the suspect dead in the ditch.

The other gunman ran off after the fatal shot was fired and investigators are still trying to locate him.

King says that he didn’t know the men or why they were demanding anything from him.

He sustained several injuries from the attack — a fractured eye socket, fractured sinus cavity, and a concussion. He required 20 stitches and three staples to close his wound.

King told Bay News 9 that his wife saved his life.

‘Them guys came in with two normal pistols and my AR stopped it,” King said.

“[My wife] evened the playing field and kept them from killing me.’

The sheriff’s office confirmed that the AR-15 that King’s wife used was legally owned.

Anyone with information related to the suspect at large is asked to call Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office on 813-247-8200.

Bad guys with guns stopped by an 8-month pregnant woman with a gun.

This is precisely the point. Would this woman have been able to intervene effectively without her AR-15? She likely saved her family’s lives. Why do anti-gun activists not realize that guns protect women?

This is just one more reason that the Second Amendment is important — it means that men with guns can be stopped by a very pregnant woman with a gun.

To all the gun-grabbers out there — Molon Labe.
