When you travel with an entourage like the President does, you literally don’t need to bring your wallet or cash with you for anything.
You don’t need ID, and everything you need will be paid for by someone who looks after such details.
So why would a President possibly need to carry a wad of cash with him?
We know he does.

Just like he said:
“I don’t carry a wallet because I haven’t had to use a credit card in a long time,” Trump replied, holding up a wad of cash out of his pocket for reporters to see.
He said that he carried cash so that he could still give out tips as he traveled.
“I like to carry a little something. I like to give tips to the hotel. I’m telling you, maybe a president’s not supposed to do it, but I like to leave a tip for the hotel, etcetera, etcetera,” Trump explained.

Yep. This is the ‘moral monster’ they are so desperate to impeach in DC.
Could their real problem be that he shows them all up as the phonies they are?
Trump, the ‘evil Billionaire’ knows the value of a generous tip, and how it might make a big difference in the life of any wait staff that may be struggling to get by. It costs him practically nothing, in the grand scheme of things, but means something to the people he gives it to.
That’s what empathy looks like. Not being generous with TAXPAYER cash, but being generous with your own.
Compare that with the prissy Hollywood or DC elites that treat their underlings like garbage because they don’t deserve anything better.
