Pelosi, Schiff, Nadler & Co claim to be defending the Constitution. America isn’t buying it.
Scott Adams’ furious reaction to their whole stupid fiasco is pure (expletive) GOLD.
We could watch all the same old familiar faces from DC give all the speeches we can almost recite right along with them by now. Or we can watch the reaction of Scott Adams. And we can promise you, what HE has to say about it is nothing at all like the stale talking points.
HIS perspective just might be echoed across America. And if it is, the Dems are royally f*cked.
This will NOT be some boring rehash … not at all.
Scott Adams has *never* hated his government before today. Not yesterday. Not during the Iraq war. Not even during the Vietnam war.
But TODAY he hates them.
Specifically, he names Pelosi, Schiff and Nadler.
It’s on account of Pelosi announcing that they are proceeding with Articles of Impeachment against the 45th President of the United States.
Nancy Pelosi and her Democrats charged Trump with high crimes and misdemeanors on Tuesday.
‘Today, in service to our duty to the constitution and to our country, the House Committee on the Judiciary is introducing two articles of impeachment charging the president of the united States, Donald J. Trump, with committing high crimes and misdemeanors,’ said House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler.
The two charges are abuse of power and obstruction of justice. Nadler released the nine-page text of the formal articles outlining the charges.
‘President Trump abused the powers of the presidency by ignoring and injuring national security and other vital national interests to obtain an improper personal political benefit. He has also betrayed the nation by abusing his high office to enlist a foreign power in corrupting Democratic elections,’ reads the first charge.
‘In the history of the Republic, no president has ever ordered the complete defiance of an impeachment inquiry or sought to obstruct and impede so comprehensively the ability of the House of Representatives to investigate ‘high crimes and misdemeanors,”‘ reads the second.
Each crime comes with a final note on the formal impeachment accusation: ‘Wherefore President Trump, by such conduct, has demonstrated that he will remain a threat to national security and the Constitution if allowed to remain in office, and has acted in a manner grossly incompatible with self-governance and the rule of law. President Trump thus warrants impeachment and trial, removal from office and disqualification to hold and enjoy any office of honor, trust or profit under the United States.

Scott was shocked by his own visceral reaction to what we all knew was coming.
Even though I knew the day was coming, I did not anticipate how I would feel about it. I’m not worried, the country will be fine, everything will be fine, the Senate will take care of business and get rid of it.
As I was watching this disgusting group of politicians pretend to be sad and pretend to be sincere, I was overcome with hatred. And I don’t really spend a lot of time hating anything. There are things I prefer, things I dislike, things that need to be criticized, but rarely if ever do I feel a genuine feeling of hatred.
And when I watched Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler and Nancy Pelosi, and I’m going to throw Jeffrey Toobin in there as I was just watching him on CNN. I don’t think it’s just that they disagree, I don’t think it’s just that they are on a team doing things I wish they weren’t doing.
There’s something about this group of people that makes me f*cking hate them.

As a side note, we DID notice that Democrats passed the USMCA AFTER these Articles of Impeachment were drafted. We can’t help but wonder if these were being intentionally held up as an inducement for her own party to push through support for impeachment.
Considering all the talk about ‘quid pro quo’ for ‘hurting a political rival’ that would be pretty damned cynical, don’t you think?
