WATCH: White House Releases Video Of Christmas Decorations With The First Lady — Cue The Liberal Outrage In 3, 2, 1…

The First Lady’s theme this year was “The Spirit of America” and it is positively stunning.

Last year, First Lady Melania was mocked for her red Christmas trees, but she chose a timeless and classic look for the decor this year. To sum it up in one word: Magical.

Planning began all the way back in July.

‘The Spirit of America’ is shining in the [White House!” Mrs. Trump captioned a video of a tour of the Christmas decor via Twitter. “I am delighted to share this beautiful exhibit of patriotism for all to see, and excited for everyone to experience the beauty of the #Christmas season!”

And, indeed, the “Spirt of America” is on full display, this year. Mrs. Trump chose decorations that paid homage to lost service members and Gold Star families and gave a nod to each state and territory.

“A Gold Star Family Tree — adorned with golden stars and patriotic ribbons in honor of those who lost an immediate family member serving in the armed forces — greets visitors to the East Wing,” the New York Post reports. “The official White House Christmas tree, towering more than 18 feet tall, is decorated with handmade paper flowers representing the floral emblems of each state and territory.”

“In the State Dining room, a gingerbread house on display features the South Portico of the White House and landmarks from across the country, including the Statue of Liberty, the Golden Gate Bridge, Space Needle, Mount Rushmore, the Alamo, the Gateway Arch and the Liberty Bell,” the report added.

The color scheme seemed to be predominantly gold and white with the addition of red in some rooms.

It’s just gorgeous! There’s that nod to the past and yet, it doesn’t feel old. Timeless, classic, and elegant.

The tweets already have a string of angry leftists replying, but so far nothing is very creative. It’s mostly about the Obama policy of “caged” children, dunking on President Trump, and posting some of the racier photos from Melania’s modeling days.

You just know that the left will eventually find something that they will deem “problematic” about the decor — probably that it’s a bit too “Trumpian” and therefore racist being white and gold and all.

These people really need to relax.

Might I suggest taking a calming walking tour of the White House to see the Christmas decorations?
