‘Jesus Flipped The Switch’ Hashtag Trends As People Show Lives Transformed By God’s Grace
Social media can often bring out the worst in people. This time, some users are posting photos and sharing how God has changed their lives for the better.
Thousands of Twitter users used the hashtag #JesusFlippedTheSwitch and shared how coming to know Christ has completely transformed their lives. 1John 1:9 says, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
Some of those transformations are pretty amazing and show how a person went from a depressed, drug user to a happy, well-balanced person who worships God.
Many cited or referred to 2Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”

It’s encouraging to see so many teens and twenty-somethings openly sharing their faith on Twitter like this, especially as the coronavirus spreads, our lives have changed, and people are searching for meaning.
God bless them all for sharing those private (and probably embarrassing in many cases) photos and stories as a testimony of how great our God is and how knowing Him can transform lives.
