One of the most iconically weird people in Portland has stepped up his game in response to the WuFlu scare.
Every place you can go will have its own variation on what you could call ‘colorful characters’. People so distinctively original, that they become local legends of a sort.
Some, because they have achieved something remarkable. Others because they get all the ‘wrong’ sort of news coverage.
Others still are just remarkably weird.
Like ‘rides-a-unicycle-while-playing-flaming-bagpipes-and-wearing-a-ridiculous-costume’ levels of weird.
That’s the schtick of Portland’s ‘Unipiper’. He’s been at this long enough to have become moderately famous for it.
And when this latest disease scare became an international news story, he jumped on the bandwagon as only he could.
