The scandal the Press refused to talk about, the one that led to the first AG in US history being slapped with ‘Contempt of Congress’ is rearing its ugly head again.
Fast & Furious is back in the news.
And this time, it isn’t something that Obama’s allies in the deep state can cover for. This complaint is coming from Mexico.
They want answers.
Mexico’s president on Friday urged the United States to shed light on a gun-running sting that caused bilateral friction under the Obama presidency, questioning the behavior of past U.S. administrations for the third time this week.
Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said his government would send a diplomatic note to Washington for information on the 2009-2011 operation known as ‘Fast and Furious,’ a topic that has resurfaced in recent days amid a debate over historic U.S.-Mexico cooperation on security and possible corruption under previous administrations.
Setting out to stop cross-border gun smuggling, the U.S. scheme allowed people to illegally buy arms in the United States and take them to Mexico so that the weapons could be tracked and lead law enforcement officials to drug cartel bosses. Some weapons were later blamed for gangland slayings in Mexico.
“How could this be? A government that invades in this way, that flagrantly violates sovereignty, international laws,” Lopez Obrador said at his daily news conference.
To avoid a repeat, the matter needed to be cleared up, said Lopez Obrador, who noted that President Donald Trump had last year been “respectful” to Mexico in discussions over joint co-operation following two major security incidents. —Reuters
This comes at a particularly bad time for the Democrats.
Obama’s administration has been shown to have allowed some serious corruption to happen right under their noses, things that Obama repeatedly only knew about after seeing them in the news. (The same news that refused to report scandals in the first place, or else faithfully framed them as ‘Republicans pounce’ stories.)
Now the breadcrumbs for potentially the most serious scandals ever to unfold in US history are leading right back to Obama’s White House. They’ve run out of ways to hide it. And who was his trusty Veep?
That’s right, Sleepy Joe was right there in the thick of it. Joe was in the room where Comey and Brennan were talking about Flynn. Biden knew SOMETHING.
It’s been a bad week for Joe supporters. Not only do we have Reade and Flynn nightmares unfolding concurrently.
But the return of Fast & Furious adds one more problem to the pile.
The pile was pretty sizeable already. Nepotism allegations. Someone in DC pulled strings for Burisma. A history of lying about his record. Dubious mental acuity.
Watching the rats scurry for cover when that Durham Report drops is going to be so much fun.
And that’s not even the worst of it. How quickly we all forget THIS scandal…
