Thanks to Illegal Immigration, California Has Too Many Reps… Taken From These States

Written by Wes Walker on July 26, 2020

The Left isn’t just desperate to keep illegal immigrants pouring into the nation, they are also desperate to have their numbers count in a census. There is a Machiavellian reason they would want that.

Illegal immigrants cannot lawfully vote (but the left is working on that, too) but they CAN influence an election.

How?

By having their numbers count in a census. The more people that get counted in the census, the greater percentage of the national population a particular Sanctuary State can have.

And what becomes of states with a greater percentage of the national population? They shift the share of representatives from other states to their own. In effect, the presence of illegal immigrants in California, for example, will disenfranchise whichever smaller states it bleeds reps away from.

This is a literal disenfranchisement of American voters. And the Left loves it for exactly one reason. It will always shift the balance of power in the direction of the Democrats.

On Tuesday, President Donald Trump signed an executive order to prevent illegal immigrants from being counted for the purposes of re-drawing congressional districts after the 2020 census.

The order, “Ensuring American Citizens Receive Proper Representation in Congress” comes after the Supreme Court last year blocked a citizenship question from being included in the Census and sent the question back to lower courts, claiming that the administration’s reasoning for the question was insufficient.

…According to an analysis from Unbiased America, Blue States with large illegal alien populations like California are benefiting massively in terms of representation due to their non-citizens. — Bongino Report

Here is the impact potential of those numbers:

California: +6 representatives (11.3% of its current representatives)
Florida: +1 representative (4.0%)
New York: +1 representative (3.4%)
Texas: +1 representative (3.1%)
Because the House of Representatives is currently fixed by law at 435 members, states that have fewer illegal aliens and non-citizens lose representatives as a result. The following states have fewer representatives than they would if undocumented immigrants were not counted in the calculation:

Mississippi: -1 representative (25.0% of its current representatives)
Oklahoma: -1 representative (20.0%)
Kentucky: -1 representative (16.7%)
South Carolina: -1 representative (16.7%)
Wisconsin: -1 representative (12.5%)
Indiana: -1 representative (11.1%)
Michigan: -1 representative (6.7%)
Ohio: -1 representative (5.6%)
Pennsylvania: -1 representative (5.3%)
The Census is also used to allocate federal funds, and states with more illegal immigrants thus receive more from the federal government at the expense of those with smaller illegal alien populations. — Bongino Report

Do you remember which one group of illegal immigration Obama put a stop to during his Presidency? In his final month of office, he did this: Obama ends ‘wet foot, dry foot’ policy for Cubans

Was it because the people risking being eaten alive by sharks on a 70-mile journey using improvised boats were suddenly no longer oppressed in Cuba?

Or did Obama know that lawful Cuban refugees were helping pull the important swing State of Florida to the political right?
