LMAO ‘Free’ Press? CNN’s Stelter Outraged By Parler App’s ‘Threat To Democracy’

What’s the matter, CNN? Is your precious media narrative so damned flimsy that an uncensored conversation among free citizens threatens it?

When Former Future President Hillary Clinton had her haggard ass handed to her in 2016 by a political upstart who leveraged new media to great effect, the activists on the left initiated a plan intent on never letting that happen again.

That was laid out by Clinton flunkie David Brock in his ‘Media Matters War Plan 2017 (David Brock’s 49 page war manual for defeating the American right)‘, which we have referenced on many occasions.

The strategy was unfolding perfectly according to plan as one digital domain after another was throttled, demonetized, deplatformed, boycotted, ‘fact-checked’, or otherwise harassed and suppressed until the once-robust voice on the political right was thinned by a systematic attempt to suppress, deplatform, or bankrupt them.

Since then, many right-of-center sites have gone under, and many of those who remain (ourselves included) have been targeted in the systematic purges of Conservative pages.

Social media had created an appetite for uncensored conversation, making literally billions off of that business model, before unleashing a jackboot censorship regime which left that new appetite unsatisfied.

In a place like America, such appetites don’t stay unsatisfied for long. Parler stepped into the void with the promise of a platform that will truly behave like a platform, not like a glorified hall monitor.

The media personality said people are “going more and more into their own echo chambers, and more and more into their own bubbles, especially Trump voters.”

Stelter said these conservatives troop to Parler because they believe it is a “safer space for them.” He then labeled this phenomenon a sign of a “bunker mentality in right-wing media.” The media correspondent ended his rant by saying the influx as “not good for the country.”

CNN White House correspondent Pamela Brown, who was speaking with Stelter on-air, agreed with him and said Parler is a “threat to democracy,” adding that those who joined the new platform “are in echo chambers and they’re getting fed a diet of lies essentially.”-ChristianityToday

Dan Bongino, a stakeholder in the company, has been pretty open about who they are — an open platform for any political stripe to have their say. The left is just as welcome and free to speak there as the right.

In fact, that’s the whole point.

But maybe this concept is a little hard to grasp for a guy whose life never encounters anyone or anything that seriously challenges his leftist media monoculture.

How ironic that Stelter, a guy whose entire job hinges on the protections of the First Amendment, is outraged by the notion of free speech.
