It’s one thing to say you’re a patriot that will rush to the defense of the Constitution. It’s quite another to know what it would take to trigger that kind of response.
Have you thought about what it is you believe? Is your behavior consistent with your beliefs?
What points are you willing to yield on, and where do you draw the line where you will have to push back.
What will pushing back look like in your case? A letter? A phone call? A protest? Civil disobedience?
If you consider yourself a patriot, these are the kind of questions you should wrestle with before the fact, so you know yourself well enough to know where you stand, and what lines you are truly willing to draw.
