DeSantis blasts ‘half-cocked mission’ saying ‘they’re soldiers, not Nancy Pelosi’s servants.’

DeSantis wasn’t alone. Governor Abbott acted almost as quickly to recall the ones Texas had loaned DC.

On top of the various other indignities they endured, some 200 of them have contracted Coronavirus.

The Florida governor also took issue with reports that members were vetted ahead of the inauguration amid fears that the event could be targeted by a person on the inside. There were 12 troops dismissed as a result.

‘And this comes on the back end of them trying to investigate the backgrounds of our Guardsmen,’ DeSantis added.

‘Florida, we did not let them go into their political beliefs. I thought that was totally inappropriate. I thought it was very disrespectful for people who are clearly patriots. So, this is a half-cocked mission at this point, and I think the appropriate thing is to bring them home.’

DeSantis was backed by Texas Governor Greg Abbot who had sent 1,000 troops for the inauguration but vowed in a tweet that he would never do so again.

‘This is the most offensive thing I’ve ever heard,’ Abbott tweeted Monday.

‘No one should ever question the loyalty or professionalism of the Texas National Guard. I authorized more than 1,000 to go to DC. I’ll never do it again if they are disrespected like this.’

Despite no intelligence suggesting any specific and organized threat in the Capitol, 25,000 troops were stationed there for the inauguration. And for some reason that has not yet been articulated, they want 5,000 troops to remain there for some time to come.

These are the same troops that were called ‘Gestapo’ and ‘stormtroopers’ by leading Democrats… and who had their loyalty questioned in days leading up to the inauguration.

The National Guard says 5,000 troops will remain in the nation’s capital through mid-March, Fox News has learned.

“As we continue to work to meet the final post-inauguration requirements, the National Guard has been requested to continue supporting federal law enforcement agencies with 7,000 members and will draw down to 5,000 through mid-March,” the Guard said in a statement.

Eight governors still have the spine to stand up and say something when D.C. politicians step out of line.

It’s not as many as there should be, but it’s a start.

If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive

Much of the Left loathes masculinity and they love to paint Jesus as a non-offensive bearded woman who endorses their agenda. This book blows that nonsense all to hell. From the stonking laptop of bestselling author, Doug Giles, comes a new book that focuses on Jesus’ overt masculine traits like no other books have heretofore. It’s informative, bold, hilarious, and scary. Giles has concluded, after many years of scouring the scripture that, If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive.
