It doesn’t matter how leftwing you are, you’re never immune from the Cancel Culture mob.

They’re relentless and unforgiving.

Ibram X. Kendi has been labeled America’s “leading racism scholar”, and is one of the darlings of the left. He has published a New York Times bestselling book, “Be Antiracist: A Journal for Awareness, Reflection and Action.” His book promotes the concept of “antiracism” which, according to Kendi, is not the same as being “non-racist.”

He explains to Business Insider:

Racism views a racial group as culturally or socially inferior. An anti-racist, per Kendi’s book, is “one who is expressing the idea that racial groups are equals and none needs developing, and is supporting policy that reduces racial inequality.”

But to understand what an anti-racist is, one must also understand what an anti-racist is not: a non-racist. There is no such thing as a non-racist, Kendi writes, because it signifies neutrality.

“One endorses either the idea of a racial hierarchy as a racist, or racial equality as an anti-racist,” he says. “One either believes problems are rooted in groups of people, as a racist, or locates the roots of problems in power and policies, as an anti-racist. One either allows racial inequities to persevere, as a racist, or confronts racial inequities, as an anti-racist.”…

…To be an anti-racist, Kendi said in an interview with Vox, is to admit when we’re being racist and then challenging those racist ideas.

“We adopt anti-racist ideas that say the problem is power and policy when there is inequity, not people.” That is, it is the system, not a racial group, that needs to be changed. “And then we spend our time, we spend our funds, we spend our energy challenging racist policy and power.”

But now, all of this leftwing talk of “dismantling systemic racism” against “black and brown” people — because according to the left in 2021, our current era in the United States is far worse than the Jim Crow South — might now be moot because of a leaked video.

Apparently, Mr. Kendi, who reportedly charges $20,000 to speak about his antiracism message, appeared before the New York State Association of Independent Schools in January.

Unfortunately, a brief clip of that “wonderful webinar was leaked online and, well, the “Woke Folx” found it, (as they would say,) “problematic.”

In it, Kendi says that he was “horrified” thathis 4-year old daughter came home from school and said that she no longer wanted to be a girl.

Here’s what he said in the video:

KENDI: Y’know obviously, talking about race, even talking about gender. I think it was last week my daughter came home and said she wanted to be a boy, you know, which was horrifying, for my wife to hear, for myself to hear. And of course, you know, we’re like, “Okay, what affirmative messages about girlhood, can we be teaching her to protect her from whatever she’s hearing in our home, or even outside of our home, that would make her want to be a boy?” And I suspect it’s the same thing with you know with kids of color, in which they’re regularly hearing these messages that may want them to want to be white. Or even white children who are like “I’m happy I’m white,” right? You know, what affirmative messages are we teaching them to break down those ideas?

Watch the clip that has sparked the gender activists’ outrage:

Shockingly, I agree with Ibram Kendi.

This is a reasonable take instead of the knee-jerk response that some parents have done to “affirm” their young children in their stated expressions about gender. Maybe ask the some follow-up questions before changing their names and declaring them “gender non-conforming”, eh?

The original poster tagged a whole bunch of trans activists and media outlets to expose Kendi’s comments:

Ibram X. Kendi, the guy that’s advocating for the “dismantling of systems” due to racism, is being targeted for cancelation.
