WATCH: Scalise Puts Nancy Pelosi’s Authoritarian Usurpations Of The House Of Representatives On Blast

Have you noticed? Almost without fail, the *evil intentions* Dems so often Republicans of secretly holding pops up as the *actual behavior* of Democrats. Pelosi is no exception.

For four long years, what was Pelosi’s pretended pretext for opposing every single thing President Trump ever did, no matter how bipartisan or benign?

Trump is an ‘authoritarian’ who must be stopped.

That ‘resistance’ resulted in a Mueller investigation that accused several innocent people and (by design) prevented the duly-appointed AG from doing his job, even though the DOJ had explicit evidence from the very beginning that the Russian Collusion angle was a baseless politically-motivated hit piece. It used that investigation, and Russian Collusion narrative to sway the midterm elections and take back the House. It used the gavel of the house to launch endless investigations and campaigns of harassment against Trump, his policies, and his people.

Some of the same figures who participated in the Steel Dossier were involved in Impeachment 1.0 in which Nancy Pelosi’s team completely disregarded House Rules, the rights of the minority, the rights of the accused, and deliberately suppressed information that would have proven exculpatory to the accused.

Impeachment 2.0 was even uglier. And how did Pelosi frame her actions? One of the favorite Democrat talking points was this one she took up as well: ‘A Republic if you can keep it’.

Keep that thought in mind as we take a look at how the Leader of the House has been showing us all what she REALLY thinks about those elected representatives we send to off to DC for the representing of our interests. America is supposedly a Constitutional Republic, is it not?

The issues that seem important to the powerful and moneyed districts of San Francisco and NYC are not the same concerns shared by Louisiana, or the Rust Belt, or Alaska, Idaho, or Hawaii, or… we could go like this forever. Even within any given state, you wouldn’t have the same concerns in, say, urban Philadephia that you might have in the counties where fracking is a critical component of the economy.

Does THIS look like a government that’s committed to having someone from the eleventy-third district of some neglected ten-minute-drive-to-visit-my-next-door-neighbor county getting his chance to stand up and make sure the particular interests of HIS constituents are heard in House deliberations?

Here is what leadership under Nancy’s gavel has looked like in practice.

13 of the 14 bills rammed through this Congress did not even go through committees.

They were written in secret by Nancy Pelosi.

No public hearings.
No public scrutiny.

Remember — in the House of REPRESENTATIVES (we keep stressing that word intentionally), her majority has become even SMALLER than it had been last year. But what does she care? She’s busy consolidating power, whether she has the moral or Constitutional authority to do so or not.

If they had a motto it would be: “grab what power you can, give back only what you must”. In more conventional language it would be: ‘better to ask forgiveness than permission’.

But she wants us to believe TRUMP is the ‘authoritarian’? Of course. Without realizing it, she even explained WHY she had to play that card early and often.

Here she was planting the seeds to that ‘authoritarian’ narrative way back in March of 2017. She did some serious projecting of her own while (ironically) educating us all on which tactic she was employing in real-time … as she used it:

“The president is the deflector in chief, anything to change the subject from where the heat is,” Pelosi began. “And as and someone who has been engaged in intelligence and the member of the Gang of Eight for a long time, I can tell you that it’s just ridiculous for the president — or President Trump to say that President Obama would ever order any wiretap of an American citizen, any president. That’s just not — we don’t do that.”

“It’s called a ‘wrap-up smear,'” she continued. “You make up something then you have the press write about it, then you say ‘everybody is writing about it.’ It’s a charge. It’s a tool of an authoritarian, to just have them talking about what you want them to be talking about. Rather than Russia, we’re talking about President Obama. And then to take it to the Congress and say, ‘Now you investigate this,’ when he’s in favor of Congress of investigating anything but what do the Russians have on Donald Trump, politically, financially or personally.” –RawStory

For anyone who was in a coma these last four years — Crossfire Hurricane WAS the government spying on Trump. Team Obama DID abuse their power and weaponize the government against a political rival, and she herself played a role in getting it to investigate Trump instead of letting the people enjoy the benefit of their chosen political mandate.

Good for Scalise for calling Pelosi out on her abuse of power in the House of REPRESENTATIVES. If we had such a thing as an honest ‘mainstream’ media the whole country would be doing the same.

We, as a people, sent 435 elected individuals to DC. How many of those 435 are being entirely cut out of the process, while their constituents are inexplicably STILL expected to pay taxes? Do we no longer believe there should be a relationship between taxation and representation?

Isn’t that the kind of centralized power that brought us to 1776 in the first place? Have we come so far only to replace a British King with a Queen from San Franciso?

Taking a stand isn’t always easy. We get it. But it gets easier when you inspire yourself with others whose own examples of courage challenge you to follow in their footsteps. This is one such book.
