Trump was denounced as a ‘threat’ to the Free Press for less than this. But don’t worry. Joe will get a pass. He always does.

The media seem to think protecting him from scrutiny and criticism is their actual job. Sure is a mystery why the public no longer trusts them.

But just like a stopped clock will be right twice a day, sometimes even the most hopelessly partisan outlets — looking at YOU CNN — can do something that Rush Limbaugh used to call a ‘random act of journalism’.

Watch how cranky Joe gets when he’s asked an actual question.

Here is the exchange between CNN’s Kaitlan Collins, and Joe Biden, concerning his much-ballyhooed meeting with Putin.

KC: Why are you so confident he’ll change his behavior, Mr. President?

BIDEN: I’m not confident he’ll change his behavior. What the hell, [waves hands] what do you do all the time? [holds index finger up, strides toward reporter, appearing angry] When did I say that I was confident?

KC: You said in the next six months you’d be able to determine that.

BIDEN [Talking over the previous answer]: I said, what I said was, let’s get it straight [still holding his index finger up] I said what will change their behavior is if the rest of the world reacts to them and it diminishes their standing in the world. I’m not confident of anything. I’m just stating the fact.

KC: Well, given that his past behavior has not changed, and in that press conference after sitting down with you for several hours he denied any involvement in cyber attacks, he downplayed human rights abuses, he even refused to say Alexei Navalny’s name. So how does that account[sic] to a constructive meeting as President Putin —

BIDEN [Interrupts, talking over her, gesturing]: If you don’t understand that, you’re in the wrong business. [Turns and walks away.]

Joe Biden is coming off like a thin-skinned flake. Trump was able to bat away hostile questions for thirty or forty minutes at a time, off the cuff. He didn’t have a cadre of ‘safe’ and friendly reporters he could reliably call on. He went into the lion’s den every day. And he came out on top, even without actual ‘talking points’ cue cards specifically telling him to blame everything on his predecessor — like Joe has been caught with on this trip, besides previous occasions.

For all the chest-thumping Joe gave us about how HE was the guy to stand against Putin and called Trump ‘Putin’s Puppy’, Joe is the one being led around on a leash.

Putin — like China did with Blinken — is using the left’s own bogus anti-Republican and anti-American talking points to deflect from their own very real human rights abuses.

But let’s look at Biden’s central claim here. Joe has a very costal elite attitude to what it is that his counterpart is motivated by. He thinks what Putin REALLY wants is the praise, adulation, and acceptance of the ‘right people’.

This is the same man that annexed Crimea and dared Obama (or anyone else) to do a damned thing about it. The guy who cut off Europe’s natural gas supply in the middle of winter as a flex of his power. Does anyone really believe he gives a flying foxfart what the world thinks about him?

Trump (and Ted Cruz), on the other hand, hit Putin where it hurts. Financial sanctions were levied on Putin’s billionaire buddies. They are the source of his real power, and hurting them hurts him.

They also blocked the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, slapping sanctions on anyone who helped build it. Since energy is the cornerstone of Russia’s economy, and a big part of how they leverage influence in Europe. That came as a serious blow both to Russia’s wealth and to its prestige. So did Trump’s policy of helping keep global oil prices low, and achieving energy independence.

What did Joe do when sat down at 1600? He reversed all of that.

Aside from deliberately defunding our military (that’s a whole other issue!) could Joe possibly have handed Vladamir any bigger gift?

He ended the sanctions against Russian oligarchs and the ones against the Nord Stream 2 pipeline. Global energy prices went through the roof. America abandoned its claim to oil independence with a few strokes of a pen. He destroyed its oil industry and opportunities across North America where our energy companies actually give a damn about the energy and labor policies the left claims they are so concerned with.

Then, when Joe finally sees Putin face to face? All that courageous bluster about calling him a ‘killer’ from the safety of American shores quickly melted away when he actually faced the man himself. Suddenly Putin is a ‘worthy opponent’ and it gets hard to tell which of them was reciting the other’s anti-American talking points.

Did you know Joe is STILL pushing the lie that violence in Jan 6 led to the murder of a police officer? Even CNN has been shamed into retracting that story, Joe. Stop giving aid and comfort to the Russians and Chinese. Because they ARE using your party’s propaganda as leverage against America.

That’s exactly the sort of thing you spent the last 4 years claiming Trump was doing. If helping the Russians is such a bad thing, maybe you could stop doing it, Joe.
