Remember when Joe promised on Day One that anyone mistreating staff would be fired ‘on the spot’? Well, THIS is awkward…

Here was the exact wording of that grandiose (and empty) promise he delivered on Inauguration Day.

“I’m not joking when I say this: If you’re ever working with me and I hear you treat another colleague with disrespect or talk down to someone, I promise you, I will fire you on the spot — on the spot. No ifs ands or buts,” Biden told the staffers, talking to a large video screen

“Everybody is entitled to be treated with decency and dignity. That’s been missing in a big way the last four years.”

Biden added, “We’re going to be judged whether or not we restored the integrity and competency this government I need your help badly.” — NYPost

That’s a pretty clear standard, isn’t it? Judging it on a pass/fail system shouldn’t be too difficult, right? Ok, let’s put his own standard to the test. With Ducklo, he was eventually shamed into getting the guy to resign. What will he do when the stakes are higher?

There are problems brewing in the Office of the Vice President and it’s unclear whether more of the blame belongs on the shoulders of the chief of staff, Tina Flournoy, or with Kamala herself.

But the work environment is being called toxic, and they are blaming top leadership.

Tensions started to boil over after Harris finally decided to visit the border last week, blindsiding staffers, according to a Politico report based on interviews with 22 current and former vice presidential aides, officials and associates.

Sources described a tense atmosphere with low morale and trust, as well as bad communication, according to the outlet.

Flournoy has allegedly created an environment where ‘ideas are ignored or met with harsh dismissals and decisions are dragged out,’ the outlet reported. She allegedly ‘refuses to take responsibility’ and blames staffers for negative results.

Some of the sources told Politico that Harris also is responsible for how her office is run, claiming that the toxic environment ‘all starts at the top.’

‘People are thrown under the bus from the very top, there are short fuses and it’s an abusive environment,’ said one source.

‘It’s not a healthy environment and people often feel mistreated. It’s not a place where people feel supported but a place where people feel treated like s**t.’ — DailyMail

That’s not the only bad news for Kamala, either. Even the NYTimes is recognizing her failures and need to be propped up.

Is Kamala Harris’ job too hard? Should the Biden administration, or as they like to call it, the Biden Harris administration, be giving Harris’ easier tasks to manage? According to Ezra Klein of The New York Times, the answer is yes. These problems Harris’ has been asked to handle, from root causes of immigration and the border to police reform, voting rights, and vaccine hesitancy just aren’t setting Harris’ up for success, posits Klein.

It’s hard to see this op-ed as anything other than a softly bigoted rant about how Harris can’t handle the tough jobs if the Dems want her to take the presidency in 2024. As a black woman who may intend to run for president in just a few years, who will be up against men as well as voter bias against her gender and race, Harris’, Klein believes, should be given easier problems to tackle.

Klein’s argument is literally that Harris should be given lesser challenges so that she won’t look like a failure when she attempts to attain the presidency during the next election. If she doesn’t fail, that must be a success, right? — PostMillenial

To recap, scribblers in the NYTimes think she’s underperforming and that we need to reduce our expectations to match her limited capacities at the same time that staffers in the White House feel like they are being treated like excrement?

People are being treated that badly in Biden’s Administration? Just wait until Old Joe finds out about this. He’s gonna raise hell, and straighten it all out.

What’s that? He already knows?

Ok then. Well, there obviously must be some other meaning for the phrase, ‘I promise you, I will fire you on the spot — on the spot. No ifs ands or buts’.

I dunno, maybe it’s got something to do with Bill Clinton’s unique take on the meaning of the word ‘is’?

Can we all finally admit that Kamala is kind of a lightweight? Her ‘talents’ for rising to the top had more to do with who she knew (sometimes in the ‘biblical’ sense) and less to do with her actual skill set. There were probably 3 women in the Presidential race more competent than she was, (Tulsi, Warren, and Klobachar — probably in that order) but Biden made a very specific promise about his criteria for Veep, and she literally checked all the right boxes.

She’s nowhere near the badass chica she might imagine herself to be.

There are some far more inspiring examples in this book. Enjoy!

Biblical Badasses: The Women

In Doug Giles’ latest book, Biblical Badasses: The Women, Giles spotlights ten epic ladies who did awesome things for God with the odds severely stacked against them. These girls weren’t your typical church ladies. They were holy movers and shakers who upset hell with their God-honoring, faith-filled, lives. Giles’ unique take on these terrific women makes the scripture come alive. This book is real, raw, relevant, and irreverent. Giles’ prayer is that after reading, Biblical Badasses: The Women, not only will your noggin be filled with these amazing tales of high and lows from real women who rocked in a hard place, via the power of God, but that you will get off your butt, quit pursuing stupidity, start chasing down your high calling and at the end of your life, you too, like the holy femme fatales featured herein, will have left a massive scar on Satan’s haggard backside.
